Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
I've been a moderator for about 4 weeks now and I have attended the meetings, I'm used to being a moderator and now i feel like its time to move on to the next level and be an admin. As a mod I have learned how to use my powers to handle a situation in an efficient way. I'm sure that after experiencing the moderator rank i'm ready for the admin rank.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
As a moderator i've encountered a situation where i was the only moderator on when there were about 20 players on the server and there was this issue of mass rdm which i haven't been able to handle since all they would do is come back and keep doing it. I was only able to contact an admin in about 30 minutes to help me deal with these players in a way that would be a'lot more efficient.
The issue here is that i cannot just kick or warn the player non stop as that wouldn't be the right thing to do.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello, <Name of the player>.
I'd like to present you with the commands and tasks you'll be able to use and do.
Lets start with the basic commands that you'll need to be using as a moderator:
/TP- This is a command which when its preformed it teleports you to the location you're pointing at.
You could also do /tp RedWingz which will tp that player to the location you're pointing at.
Do not use this command while off duty. Its for in duty purposes only.
I recommend binding it to a key by doing the following:
1. Open your console.
2. Type in the following.. bind <put in the key you'd like to bind the command to here> "say /tp".
3. Press the key you binded it to and you'll be able to use it to tp quickly to roofs and locations while on duty.
/Bring- This is a command which brings a player to you if you do for example /Bring Redwingz, That would bring him to you.
I do not recommend using this command in f1s as you wont be able to bring back the player to his last location.
/Goto- This command is used to teleport to a player. The proper usage of this command is /goto RedWingz which would teleport you to his location.
/Slay-Use this command to slay a player in 4 different ways.
You could use it to slay someone if they broke nlr to bring them back to spawn.
/Freeze- This command is used to freeze a player in their place which would prevent their ability to shoot, turn around, move and be delt damage.
Only use this command if necessary, I recommend using it when a player is moving around too much, Isn't listening to the moderator or running away.
/Warn and /Unwarn-This command is used to warn a player for a certain rule they broke. Use it when you find it needed since its your most essential tool as a moderator.
If you would like to take back your recent warning for a certain player you could unwarn them.
The proper usage for this command is /warn RedWingz_ and /unwarn RedWingz_. I recommend using the player's steam id instead.
/kick-This command is used to kick a player out of the server.
Only use this command in cases that its really needed, such as a player refusing to stop doing a certain thing after being warned and other cases that you might find it very necessary.
Do not use the command very often as it shouldn't be. You should only kick a player when you know it needs to happen. I cannot stress that enough.
Most of these commands are found in the tab menu by clicking on a player you are presented with different tools that would assist you.
You also have the ability to unban a player from a job. Use this when a player is claiming that they got falsely demoted.
The F1 Menu:
You access it by pressing F1.
F1 Tab-This is where all of the F1s that players make end up at. If you'd like to handle an F1 please look at its priority and take the highest priority F1.
To handle an F1 you right click one of them and click Handle F1.
To finish handling an F1, right click the f1 and click Finish F1.
Warnings Tab-This shows all the warnings that were given to the players that are currently online.
Logs-The logs tab shows you logs of things such as kills, hits, demotes, arrests, disconnects, job changes and more.
To search for a player in the F1 menu, Use the search bar at the top right. And you'll get the logs for the recent couple of minutes for that player.
I'd also like to add that to check a player's punishments you press F6 then click on search player, go down to search player by steam id and enter their steam id to look at all their logged punishments.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello, <Player Name>.
I've looked into your ban appeal and put have decided to do the following.
Seeing as this is your first warnings, You apologized and put effort into your appeal. Your ban will be lowered to <amount> days instead of the current ban length you have.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
Seeing as i have been a mod for 4 weeks, i know that i'm ready to take more responsibility on the server and become an admin. I'd like to use my powers only to make the player's experiences better and be able to handle situations a'lot quicker with the powers that are being given to me from becoming an admin.
After 4 weeks i have learned what is being a mod really like and that it isn't just some easy job out there.
I have learned my ways of handling situations in a quick efficient way that would please the player that is being affected by another rule-breaking player.
As a conclusion, I am ready to become an admin in the Zarp SSRP server.
