RP Name: Fennster4 Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198086553263 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:63143767 Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/server_info/94.23.19...nster4&Search=Search Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/server_info/94.23.19...nster4&Search=Search Age = 14 (15 at the end of February) Estimated Server Time ~ 389 Hours Languages I speak = English Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. I feel as if I have contributed to the RolePlaying experience of many people in my time as a moderator, due to the fact that I am almost always completing F1’s, and on for 1-2 hours every week-day. Since the day I have been a moderator I have completed (INSERT # of F1’s HERE) F1’s to date, and still completing more each day. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). I have had my troubles as a Moderator, I have come across people who refuse to remove propblock, (I kick them anyways) People who are proppushing/propkilling, and people who are on a mass RDM spree, and I cannot type /freeze (name) fast enough, or I end up misspelling freeze or their name. I have also had troubles with some lag on the server, and the bad thing is that I did not have the permissions to use zarp_freeze. Also, I wanted someone to unown doors, but they were afk, so I would have to wait until they came back, before I could base their or someone else can. (I would not kick anyone for owning doors and being afk.) If you had to write a facebook/e-mail post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Welcome to the Staff Club new moderator! Today, I am here to tell you how to use your new commands as one of Zarp’s newest moderators! But before I get onto that, let me give you some vital tips to doing your job correctly. First, before you warn someone for anything, make sure you have the proof to support your warn. **Player A goes up and RDM’s Player B on the street. Player B makes an F1 saying that player A RDM’d him. You respond to his F1, and you bring Player A and B to a secluded roof on the map. You then ask player B what happened. He says “I was looking at my inventory, when player A shot me in the back of the head. He wasn’t mugging me.” Player B says “No, you were raiding me, so I killed you.” You then ask “Does anyone have any proof?” They say no. What you SHOULD NOT DO, is then warn player A for RDM, “Just because you think that their story.” You should not warn anyone, and tell player B to get some proof next time so you can warn him.** Next, Abuse… Now, one of the easiest things to do as a new mod, is abuse. Do not do this. As a mod, you should not use the /tp command in an RP situation, like Muggings, Kidnappings, or Police chases. This will get you demoted, and you will probably no longer be trusted as a player. One more thing, if you think that a person was RDM’ing right in your face, do not be afraid to confront them about it. You have logs on your side, and you even saw it happen. COMMANDS: /tp: Use this to teleport yourself to the place your reticle is on your screen. (Fall damage does apply if you TP to a high place and fall) Also use this to teleport any player to your reticle also. /warn: Use this to warn players for their bad actions. Use this for RDM, NLR, RDA, Propclimb/Surf/Kill ect. /kick: Use this for the Propspammers or the Propblockers who will not remove props. (In TAB PLAYER MENU) “Unban from job”: Use this to unban people from jobs if they were RDM’d as mayor, or randomly demoted as a job. /freeze: Use this command to freeze a player if they are proppushing or on an RDM’ing spree. Don’t forget to /unfreeze them once you are done! /unfreeze: Use this command to unfreeze a player who has been frozen. /back: use this to send any player back to their original position from where you teleported them. (You can use this on yourself also) **IN TAB MENU** Click on “Back” > “Spawn” to send them back to spawn. This will not kill them, they will not lose any guns in the process. /bring: Brings the player to your close vicinity. /goto: Brings you to the player, instead of them coming to you. Now, go out there, and complete some F1’s! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I would shorten their ban to about 2-5 days (Depending on severity), so that they can learn their lesson, but they still will not be banned for horrendously long. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). I believe that I should be promoted, because that I have helped many players improve their RP’ing experience, and that I have completed many F1’s in my time as a moderator. I also believe that I would be able to help more people with their F1’s if I had the powers that an admin has. I have made my mistakes as a mod, but I am a human. I make mistakes. Even though this is not 150 words, I have made my points clear. Thank you for reading. -Fennster4 |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
