My attitude towards punishing a player is somewhat lenient, however strict. Hard to understand however I deal with situations with a loose hand talking rather than shouting. Should I be informed or perhaps hear of bullying throughout the ZARP Teamspeak. I would of course as for evidence, unless I first-handily heard it occur. I would explain the situation to both parties should the victim in this scenario feel it could be solved through means of talking. I may then take further action, perhaps by just asking the "bully" to obviously, stop and think about what he is saying before he says it. If the problem then occurs I would inform the "bully" as to why he shall be punished (depending on the situation, a kick or a temporary ban) and remind the "bully" if they feel the punishment was to harsh/inappropriate to appeal on the forums. Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately. Set server group - This allows the ability to issue badges of "authority" upon a player. This could be for example, the DarkRP Moderator badge. The reason the server groups are within the Teamspeak is to help users locate staff when needed and also to help identify relevant information reaches users [I.e a update in the rules of TTT could be poked to all members on teamspeak with the "TTT Staff Badge"] Move/Move client to own channel - This allows the Teamspeak staff to easily and readily move players. This could be to speak to them one to one after a report has been made on a player, to speak to other members of staff, to remove AFK players from channels after a long period of time into the lobby and to move players in/out of meetings. Removal of avatars - Should a player has a distasteful avatar, perhaps offensive etc. This command can be used to remove the avatar. The avatar could then be removed, giving the team speak staff a opportunity to explain why it was removed and to ensure it will not be put on again. [A example of this could be a "Swastika"] Punishments; Ban - This command is rather self-explanatory. The command shall ban/blacklist a player from the Teamspeak for a set period of time. This may be used in situations such as constant bullying/harassment towards another player, or perhaps Racism etc. in the teamspeak. [This can be Temporary/Permanent depending on the situation] Kick - This command will remove a Player from the Teamspeak causing them to disconnect, however they can reconnect as soon as they are readily available. This can be used as a stepping stone [used like a warning] eventually increasing into a ban. Mute - This will mute a player within the team-speak disabling the microphone, this could be used in situations such as microphone spamming [as a warning before a kick/ban] or in more formal situations such as during meetings to ensure a player is not spoken over. Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words). The reasoning behind me being chosen for Team-speak staff is as followed; As a SSRP Admin & TTT Staff I have a role of authority within the servers, because of this, my name is reasonably well-known. I'm readily available on ZARP's servers for a long period of time and whenever I am online, I am on the Teamspeak server. If for whatever reason I am not on the ZARP servers [I.e doing work etc.] I am still online on the Teamspeak with my microphone muted and can be poked as soon as needed. I feel I take the powers which are bestowed upon staff very seriously and try my hardest to deal with any situation in a professional and efficient manner. I always try my best with every given situation and would be a hard-working and dedicated member of the Team-speak Staff. Thank you for reading my application, Pink. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP TeamSpeak. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team.. |
