Steam Name: YourDayZAreUp Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198030588587 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:35161429 Age: 15 Languages I speak: English and a bit of French. TS3 Related How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3?: If I noticed/thought someone was being treated unfairly or being bullied I would move them into a spacer and talk about their behavior, I would then refer them to rule 4 of the TOU (Do not harass users), or, if the kind of bullying applies to rule 8 ( No racism, discrimination, etc) I would verbally warn them, and if it continues I would temp-ban the offender (1-2 day ban). Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately.: Kick: This is used to temporarily remove a person from the TS server. It is most commonly used when users are jumping from channel to channel, purposely annoying people. Ban: A temp-ban is used when a user is committing a major offense to the people in the TS server, whether it be vile/offensive language, discrimination or racism. A perma ban on the other hand is when the user commits such a heinous crime they must be removed from the TS server permanently. Mute: Used when a user is shouting over other people trying to talk, or used when micspamming. Setting users server groups: This is useful when users get a new rank and need their TS badges updated, for example if I get TS Staff I would need to set that so that it notifies people of me being part of that staff team. Spacers: Spacers are useful when a user needs talking to, if they are breaking rules or if their staff position is in question etc. Removing Avatars: This is helpful when users avatars can be insulting to a group of people or ethnicity, or if their avatar comes in connection with rule 11 (11 - No advertising of any sort in TS chat unless given permission from the users in the channel). Moving users: This can be useful when users are briefed of an upcoming ZARP community event, and everyone needs to be moved into the same room, or when a meeting takes place users need to be moved to a restricted channel. Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words): I think I should be chosen because over the few months I am with ZARP I have come to terms with trust and logic within the community. I am regularly on TS, whether it be for the meetings or just to chill, I try to get on as much as possible. I also am calm when under pressure from offenders, so if somebody was to verbally abuse me because I kicked them I wouldn't freak out and throw back swears and hate, I would calmly deal with the offender. -YourDayZAreUp- |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP TeamSpeak. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Unfortunately as more staff members voted 'no' than 'yes', the application has been denied. The meeting host has taken some criticisms made by the admins and provided you with this brief feedback: Joined another community staff team. You are welcome to apply again at any point. |
