TOPIC: [SSRP Admin] Usm's Application

Explain how your feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin –

As I have been moderator , I have come to grip with the semi-serious reality of DarkRP and it has tort me that a moderator isn't just a rank , it is a responsibility and I wish to forward my power so I have a greater responsibility. Yes that may sound a little cheese but I feel that I could be trusted with more responsibility on DarkRP.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):

I was Mod on duty and I answered a F1 which said “prop block” , I went to the person and I saw the prop blocked printer casing / box , and I teleported the prop blocker ( the player who prop blocked) , then as I was typing he left , later he got banned but if I was admin I wouldn’t have had to wait almost two hours to get him banned.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?

Congratulations on getting moderator on DarkRP, I Usm will be training you so that you are ready to become a full time , DarkRP Moderator .
First , let’s start with the F1 system , the main part of being a moderator. If you clicked F1 as a user you would make a report , but now as a moderator if you click F1 you will see a menu all about F1 reports , it shows you any active F1 reports (Like this (465 Garry[Bigbadgarry] – RDM by a.Pokémon <unhandled>) The number at the start is the priority of the report , if the priority go over 1000 you can discard the F1 , the first name is there in game name , the second name in brackets is there Steam Name. Then the text following it is the report. { The unhandled part is if any other staff has decided to handle an F1, and if a name is there a member staff has decided to handle an F1 } after you have right clicked on the report and click handle , there are available commands that you can do when you right click it again which are : goto , Bring , mark as finished and Abort Report , I recommend using bring them you to do that you can be in a quite area when doing F1’s. when you have brought them to you let them explain what happened and then deal with the report from there.

Secondly /bring . Moderators use /bring <Name or Steam ID> to bring people to them for things like a F1 or to ask them a question about an F1 or to answer there F1 .It’s a pretty easy command to do.
Now were going on to /goto. Moderators and admins use /goto <Name> to go to a player who needs a F1 answered , PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE this command or you will be demoted back to user!
Thirdly , I’m going to teach you about /Warn . Do this when you have evidence of a user going against server rules , not when you feel like a user needs one (when you just want to). Before you warn them , you need to hear there story out and collect information / evidence , and if its valid / proper proof do /warn <Name or Steam ID> <Reason>

Half way there now , Fourthly I am going to instruct you on how to /kick .
You should only do this when you feel that someone is clearly disobeying what you have said in a F1 situation like constantly breaking NLR , then when you warn them they start shouting at down the mic at you threatening that there going to have you banned for “False Warns” or “Moderator abuse” , its basically whatever they can shout at you first about being a moderator , so when they do use /Kick <Name or SteamID> (Reason)


Second two last command , /Tp . Its used to teleport to where ever your looking, its used like this : /TP <Name or Steam ID > / <~looking somewhere~> to teleport you or player to where you were looking. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE this command or you will be demoted back to user!

Last command is /Freeze and /Unfreeze. It’s used to freeze players when they are escaping from a F1 , Or when they are attacking you during a F1 ,for example : Garry is a mutant and he is RDM’ing on the surface and you need to stop him you do /Freeze <Name or Steam ID> after you have sorted them out , you NEED to do /Unfreeze <Name or Steam ID> or they will be frozen until they re-join the server or another DarkRP staff member unfreezes them.

Finally! An item that you get in every class/team - Admin keypad checker. It’s a Tool that you need to understand how to use it because it tells you how long the fading doors are open for and what kind of fading door it is (Toggled or not). First step to understand the Admin keypad checker is to find it in your hot-bar, it is under number 6 and next to tool gun, second step is to shot the Admin keypad checker at a fading door , it show any linked keypads (if no link keypads it could be a prop ) Follow jiggered line to keypad then shoot Admin keypad checker at the keypad and it says something like “Hold length of fading door is __ second” Check in case there breaking server rules and if so treat like a f1.


Oh and I haven’t already, spend around about 10 to 20 minutes just reading all the darkrp rules and if you want to do it in game do “!motd” or “/motd” in chat then you can warn for the players for what rules they have broken.

Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeal’s their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam , and that this is their first ban . How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello Player X, your ban appeal seems to be in a lot of detail. As you have apologised in your application with great effort ,and it seems like you have learnt your lesson not to propspam I will be unbanning you , but if I see your application again I wont be as nice as I was now.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).

Personally Usm is the best candidate to be Admin this week , yes he has fault’s, but doesn’t every human? Anyway apart from that hes a clever, polite, Very Active, imaginative and Sociable part of the server , proof of this is every day when hes join Zarp 1 or 2 he say in /ooc Hello Server, and when he leaves he say in /ooc Bye Server . Hes clever because he has been able to create the application just by using the template plus hes imaginative because he has decorated this application beautifully, he knows staff on DarkRP is the most requested thing on the hole of Zarp but its only because the staff are good at making choses and he wishes that this is going to be one of their good choses like making Mogadonskoda community manger or making him a moderator , well I hope I have sounded to imposing / to third person, so im going to stop now.
