RP Name: Flossy
Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198018197890/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:28966081 Current Gametracker Profiles: www.gametracker.com/account/manage/ Age: 16 Estimated Server Time: About 1 week and a half. Languages I speak: English and I understand some Spanish and speak some too. Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random Death Match or (RDM) is the most vital rule for RP and stops everyone just going on a killing spree. E.G. : A Thief walks up to a Citizen and shoots him in the head. (RDM) or A Thief walks up to a citizen. types: /me Mug drop 3k or die. (not RDM) Breaking RDM will result in a warning Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New Life Rule or NLR is used in RP as pretending that it's a completely new life and you have no memory of why you got killed, and is to prevent raids being ridiculously long. E.G. : A Thief Advertises a raid and therefore raids a Citizen, the Citizen dies and cannot return to the place of death for 300 seconds. Breaking the NLR rules will result in a warning. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is when you use the game to your advantage E.G. : Using OOC to alert people that your base is getting raided or, seeing the gang name above peoples head through a wall, or seeing the printer HUD through a wall. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. First i would bring them both to me away from other players, possibly on a rooftop, then i'd ask them to both explain what happened, due to the fact that player x could have been mugged or been in player y's KOS, if they still can't work it out i'd ask for proof of no mugging or no KOS, then if player x has no proof i'd tell him i can't do anything and explain the situation, but if player y RDMs him again, then take screenshots. If player y has RDM'd then i would give him a warning, then after 2/3 warnings, kick, then ban. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would both bring them and get the to explain if player y admits it then 1 warning would be given if he lies over and over about it then i'd ban him for 60mins Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided. I would tell player x to stop metagaming then if he continues i mute him and f he starts spamming PM's or F1's then i'd kick him Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I feel as if i should be chosen because of several factors. : 1. Ive been Admin once before and mod twice on basewars servers and have a thorough knowledge of the rules, and have experience with this sort of stuff before. 2. I'm trusted and i never lie, i'm a calm person and never get angry in any sort of situation and a nice guy to talk to. 3. I have a mic which means i can deal with situations and F1's very quickly. 4. i have good knowledge on ULX and have all the binds. |

'All the time' is an exageration given i asked 'am i being raided', to a teammate yes i forgot about it and i panicked at the time, but it didn't affect anyone playing at all as the raid was over when i asked.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is when you use the game to your advantage E.G. : Using OOC to alert people that your base is getting raided or, seeing the gang name above peoples head through a wall, or seeing the printer HUD through a wall. The first part of your answer is correct but the part about people seein name tags and looking at printers through walls is less of meta gaming and more of cheating. The warning system is in place so you don't have to just kick or ban, you shouldn't just decide because you had to give someone two warnings that you kick them. 3 separate warnings will result in a kick and then if the player comes back and gets s 4th warning he will receive a 1hr ban. The kick option is there for when there isn't any admins on and someone is doing something like prop spamming or mass rdoing but even in that them cases you should still use the warning system so there is a record of it. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would both bring them and get the to explain if player y admits it then 1 warning would be given if he lies over and over about it then i'd ban him for 60mins Your applying for mod so you won't be able to ban but for future reference if/when you apply for admin please don't ban someone because they lied about NLR. While we are still talking about bans tho just incase you don't know mods need the same proof as a user to have someone banned. I'll edit my post in a couple days after I check your punishments and other than the stuff stated above I'd like to wish you good luck. -Red |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Unfortunately as more staff members voted 'no' than 'yes', the application has been denied. The meeting host has taken some criticisms made by the admins and provided you with this feedback: Some rules broken You are welcome to apply again at any point. |
