RDM Question - 8/10RDM Means that someone kills another person for no valid roleplay reason. An Situation is someone killing another person for literally nothing. Like backstabbing an citizen who is talking.
The bold addition I made in the definition part of the answer is important because a roleplay reason is required for the kill to be valid. It's not a big issue, but it seems a little lacking.
The example could be made more explicit, I would recommend removing the section between 'Like' and 'talking.' and replacing it with 'For example, ...'
NLR Question - 9/10New life rule [NLR] Means that someone has fergottin His last [Life] Meaning that what happend there does not matters in the new live. Also it means that you cannnot return to the location you died for the following 3 minutes. If an cops kills an person while raiding a base the person may not return there for the follow 3 minutes.
The definition will suffice, it is advisable again to ensure the example is defined more explicitly: 'For example...'
Metagaming QuestionMetagaming means that you Say stuff like Raid or IC stuff outside in the OOC chat. STuff that in fact is supposed to be in game, Shoult not be said out in OOC
This answer is a little bit choppy, and suggests lack of confidence in this area (which is fine, because this feedback should work tailored to you). You should refrain from using the phrase 'stuff like' and more confidently define metagaming. I would define it as:
Metagaming is the use or relay or use of IC information through OOC mediums. An example of this could be where a player uses the OOC chat channel to declare a raid.
Metagaming is in fact a broader term, not applying only to DarkRP chats. You can read the wikipedia article
here.
Handling RDM - Handling NLR - Handling Metagaming
Consider how you would deal with these from the beginning. Here's a simple structure to apply to a basic version of these scenarios:
- Determine who the victim is, and who the alleged troublemaker is.
- Ask the victim for details (and evidence if they have any).
- Try to confirm these details in the logs.
- Teleport the alleged troublemaker.
- Show the logs (and/or evidence) to the player, and ask for their reasoning.
- Continue discussion until it can be determined that either nothing can be decided without further evidence, or whether a punishment needs to be handed down (a warning as a moderator).
- If no action can be taken, advise the victim to take evidence in future.
- Return the alleged troublemaker to their original positioning, ask if there is anything else that the victim requires.
- If not, wish them a good day and leave.
Why you should be chosen
I see you quoted Lightarrow's thread, and you should probably remove that part as you didn't write it (was confusing to me at first)
punished for the stuff they shoult get warned for.
Prove that you can have a balanced view on batters here by stating that in some circumstances players will perceive that a punishment should be handed down where it simply wouldn't be fair by democracy, and in others the failure or ignorance of administrative duty can result in a punishment being waived.
I will read the rules.
Not the future tense. You need to be on top of the rules
now.
