Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.


Random Death Match or RDM, is when a player is attacked out of role-play or with no reason behind it. An example of this would be a play A (gangster) randomly shoots player B (Citizen) for no reason, this breaks role-play and is against the rules as you must have a reason to attack someone e.g. mugging someone and they refuse to pay ending in bloodshed, that is roleplay and is not counted as RDM

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.


New Life Rule or NLR is a rule that stops you doing anything that may be caused by your previous life though the main rule is about the time you have to wait before entering the district you died in it also means you actions cannot be Biased upon what happened before you died, this means you cannot just kill someone for revenge. an example of this would be if Player A shot Player B and killed him then Player B cannot enter the same district he was killed in for 3mins, he is also not allowed to take revenge or act upon anything that had happened in his previous life

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.


Metagaming is anything to do with in game/ Roleplay gaming being effected or being changed by out of character infomation, this may be acting on something you see in the OOC chat or something even in the forums. an example of this would be if someone said in the OOC chat that they had money printers in their base and a police officer then put a warrent on that person because they knew it appeared in the out of character chat.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.


Player Y may have killed player X but this does not mean his was RDM'd the logs simply state that the player was killed and cannot give information on why or how, i would ask them both for evidence on the matter to support these claims and also to see if the claims are true or not, if no evidence can be submitted i would keep a close eye on both players from a distance and see how they act after the first initial RDM.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time

Ask for evidence that this player was indeed was in the district that is claimed to be his NLR zone, if no evidence can be given watch that player carefully for the remainder of his time on the server. Though you have a timestamp on them you cannot tell where a person was killed so you cannot be sure that the player was in that area.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

Give the player a verbal warning, tell him the rule he has broken (Politely, no need to be aggressive sometimes people just forget rules etc) then paste the rule in the chat and then tell him to please read the rules again and to always check as they always update and it's good to keep them fresh in your head.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).

I Don’t Believe I should be chosen I’m simply asking for people to please consider me because at the end of the day I’m only hear to help make this community better and I have been trying to do that without Mod abilities however now I want to try and become an official Mod, I know allot of people who think that being a Mod is handling rule breakers but it’s not just that, it’s helping out the whole community whether it is rule breakers or just someone that doesn’t know how to buy a door it’s all still a mods job to help everyone with anything and that’s what I plan on doing, I like helping people in and out of games. I love the Zarp servers and I have noticed whilst I’m on (not many mods play when I am on) that not many respect the rules, the server or the community when I play, this is because no mods are on when I play usually. I want to fix this and make the server full of players that will respect the server even when no Mod is on

I've role-played with this a few times late at night, i can honestly say that he is a good guy and understands the rules well.Hes mature and every time i talk to him he shows a clear indication that he wants to assist the staff in catching rule breakers.
