Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match (Otherwise known as RDM) is the killing of another player with no reason. This also goes for attacking someone without a rp intent as well. - Example: is where say me miklop90 kills Kpro with no reason. or Kpro was attempting to kill me without a reason and miklop90 killed him.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule (Otherwise known as NLR) - You cannot return to the past section (the location say the garages beside the scrap guy you cant return to that whole area) of your death until the 3 minute time is over. Also that you forget everything that has happened you delete your base and start a new life completely. Example: a player gets raided and kills and runs straight back to there base to protect it.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario:
Metagaming - Using the none in-game chat for a RP related problem or statement or if you see for example the sparks of drug labs through the wall and you raid the player for that reason. Or if a police seen the same and issues a warrant. Example: a player says in /ooc that he is getting raided someone help or selling drugs/weapons for an amount of money.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would move to a location where no other players are there and tp player x to me to here his story then player y for the same. i would then bring them both together to explain the situation at hand then tell player y why he is getting the warning for rdm. ask if any of them needed more help or assistance then let them return to the rp.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
- I will bring them both to me and ask for the story of the problem to see if it was a raid or if it was a rdm as well. then ask player y if he knows what NLR is and ask if he broke it. Then i would explain why i am giving him this warning and ask if any of them needed more help or assistance then let them return to the rp.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided.
I would warn him for metagaming and then tp to him to explain that it was metagaming and explain metagaming if needed then ask if he needed any more help with rules or parts of darkrp he is unsure about.
Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words):
I should be chosen for moderator because I have been a member of Zarp for a while i have played on most of the Zarp servers. I like the community that follows Zarp and how no matter what you can always get help or advice and i feel like i can help with that. When i play on the DarkRP server i tend to help players that dont understand the rules just to help out because the admins/moderators can get really busy. I understand role play a lot because i am a student of acting and performing so in this aspect i feel like i could help players get more into the rp and show them ways how they can build a mafia or a solid police department. I do like helping players while playing with them as well like rather than just tell them what to do i prefer to join in with them to build a stronger connection with players.
