I feel my time as a moderator will contribute to becoming an admin because I know how to handle a lot of different F1 situation that can be completed by moderator status. I feel that if I became an admin I would be able handle the F1's that are needed by an admin. this would save myself and the other admins time having to come help me with a situation that I could be handle if I became an admin. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). A situation as a moderator I encountered is when a player Mass RDMs and there is no admins on. I have to keep giving them warnings to keep em of the server till an admin gets on and bans the steam ID This is no fun for players as it takes away peoples RP experience If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Hello (Name) congratulations on making it to the staff team this is an email to train you as a moderator. I will cover the following parts in this email Part 1 - The moderator commands. Part 2 - The F1 menu. Part 3 - Mod on Duty job. --- Part 1 --- Warning: To warn someone that has broken a rule. you can type in chat /warn <Steam ID> <Reason>. Three Warnings with result in a kick After the forth warn they will get a hour ban. (un)warn: To take back a warning: Type in chat /unwarn <SteamID> Teleporting: Teleporting is used for when you need to go to someone or bring someone to you. You can type the following in chat /tp <Steam Id> /goto <Steam Id> /bring <Steam Id> <Steam Id> Freezing: This is used for when people are running away from you or are rdmin ect. To use this in chat you type the following /freeze <Steam Id> and /unfreeze <Steam Id> Slaying: This is used to kill someone. This is not ment to be used lightly. you should this for situations like if a citizan is using a big gun and will not drop it. You can do this by typing in /slay <RP Name> Kicking: This command is used to kick someone from the server for an example would be if a user is prop blocking and he will not remove it and there is no admins on. /kick <Steam Id> <Reason> Igniting: This is used to set people on fire: We don't have a use for this command and should not be used as it serves no purpose It is better to use all these commands through the TAB menu by clicking on their name this will prevent you from making a mistake. --- Part 2 --- The F1 menu is used for various things The first tab on the F1 menu is used to handle the requests that a player submitted It will show the players(name) who submitted it and the reason. To handle it you must right click on the the request and select handle this. Now you are handling this you can either goto or bring. Once you have completed the F1 you have to right click on it again and select finished. --- The second tab on the F1 menu is Warnings. This will show you the plays who got warned the info you can get from this is what the player got warned for what admin and how many he has. you can also unwarn a player from this menu but never unwarn someone you didn't warn. --- The third and final tab is the logging. What this tab does is record the deaths, kills, arrest., demotes, disconnects, changing jobs and the Time and Date of when it happenes this very useful when you are doing F1's --- Part 3 --- Mod on Duty The Mod on Duty class is mostly used for the tool you get with it. The tool is called Admin Keypad Checker. What this tool does it check to see if a keypad is connected to a door(s) and how many seconds it fades for. Well this is all you need to know if you have any more questions feel free to email me back or ask another staff member on the server or teamspeak. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I would look at what he wrote and see if he really was dedicated and sincerely sorry for what he did. if he really is sorry for what he did I would lower his banned time and explain to him that breaking the rules is only ruining the experience for players and an annoyance to the staff of zarp and if he does something like this again his unban might not be accepted. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words) I think I should be promoted as admin because I feel like I could handle this position. I'm very active in the community and teamspeak. I'm a very well respected player by the users and staff members. When Im on the server I spend most of my time doing F1's instead of role playing so I can keep the players happy. I always keep calm in F1's and make sure they are completed in a professional manner. I enjoy helping others and with the admin status I could help moderators and the players even more then I could now. I hope I get the opportunity to prove myself to staff and players of the community Thank you for your time and reading my application -Tea Leaf- |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
