Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match is when a player, for no valid reason, kills or injures another player.
Player(X) walks up to Player(Y) who appears to be mining, Player(X) equips a weapon and kills Player(Y) for fun.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
The New Life Rule is when a player dies and he/she may not return back to the area of their death for 3 minutes. They also must forget about anything from their previous life.
Player(X) is in his/her home then all of a sudden gets raided and killed and by Player(Y). Player(X) now may not return to his/her home for 3 minutes due to the New Life Rule.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is the term used to describe when roleplay information is being sent into out of character chat.
Player(Y) uses the out of character chat to alert other players that he/she requires help raiding Player(X) because Player(X) has a money laundering operation in his/her base.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First of all, I would teleport both of the players to me so that the matter at hand can be discussed. I will then ask Player(X) to tell me his/her story of the incident. Once finished, I will then ask Player(Y) why they killed Player(X).
If Player(Y) owns up to their mistake they will be issued a warning for RDM and I will tell them to make sure it doesn't happen again. If Player(Y) denies RDMing and gives a valid reason for the kill then I will ask Player(X) for any proof. If Player(X) does not supply me with any proof then I will tell them that because the logs show that they were killed by Player(Y) does not mean it is RDM and without any evidence I cannot issue a warning.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would teleport both players to me. I would then ask Player(X) how Player(Y) broke NLR and ask for any proof he/she may have. If there is proof then a warning will be issued to Player(Y) for breaking NLR and tell Player(Y) not to do so again. If there is no evidence then I may not issue a warning but may keep a close eye if the console shows more of the kills close together. I would then notify both players of the New Life Rule and refer them to the rules to check the New Life Rule information.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would notify Player(X) that they are currently metagaming and tell them not to use the OOC for roleplay uses. If Player(X) continues then I will issue a warning for metagaming and will notify them again as to why they have been warned and direct them as to where they can reread the rules.
Why I should be chosen
I should be chosen because I am dedicated to helping the ZARP DarkRP servers, as well helping the players that dwell inside.
I am not one known to break rules as I have great knowledge of them and always follow them. I always check the rules in case they have been updated or I am not sure on something that could potentially break a rule. I involve myself a lot in roleplay and try to get around the community and possibly notify any moderators/administrators of any rule breaking. I am not biased, so there is no need to worry of any rule breaking going unpunished due to being friends with them.
I would much like to be part of the ZARP staff team so I can help old and new players from having their roleplay experienced ruined by anyone that has no intention of following rules. It would be a nice change to deal with more trouble makers to make sure the server is a nicer place to roleplay within.
Thank you for reading.
