Here, we would discuss what was going on in detail so I could get an idea of what was going on and how serious the bullying is. If the bullying was only mild I would see if a simple apology could be established and if the person who is being bullied thought this is enough. If not, then I would ban/kick the bully from the TS server. Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately: As TS staff I have access to a number of powers that regular members do not have. I can set someone as a priority speaker - This could be used during meetings. For example I could set the Host of the meeting to be the Priority Speaker for that channel, therefore his voice is the Priority and if other people are talking the other client(s) volume will be turned down. I can Set Server Groups - This can be used if someone has a new IP and they therefore do not have their server badges. I can then set them to their required groups. I won't however add new people to the groups 'LoL Team' or the 'ZARP CS:GO Team', as I am not the owner of either team, therefore I cannot give new people that badge unless I have permission to. I can also Kick Clients from the Channel - This could be used if a player joins a Non-Music channel and begins to play music without the consent of the other people in there. I would then kick that person from the channel. The next command is Ban Client - I would use this if someone is breaking a lot of rules/or bullying or disrespecting someone a lot. Finally, I can move clients to and from different TeamSpeak channels - I can use this in a meeting when someone has joined the server late and need to be moved in. Also, if I need to speak to someone in private about someone who is breaking rules or being harassed or bullied, I can move them into a separate channel and deal with the matter in private. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 70 words): I should be chosen for TeamSpeak staff because I am on TS everyday usully for most of the day. I am a very friendly and patient person and I am willing to listen to anyone who needs help. I am staff on 3 ZARP servers (DarkRP Admin, Zombie Survival Moderator, and Minecraft Staff), therefore I have proven that I can be trusted with the powers available to me as staff. Finally, I sometimes get people coming into my channel and asking me if I can do anything about someone who is micspamming or following them around on TS. Of course I had to tell the person that I could not do anything and that they had to speak to a member of staff. He then came back in a few minutes later and explained how he could not see any staff in any channels and that the guy would not stop, I again has to tell him that there was nothing I could do. I feel that if I got staff I could solve problems such as this as they occur. Thank you for reading my TeamSpeak application (v2.0)! |
