Languages I speak: Both English and Polish fluently. Promotion Related: Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. I feel that I have learned a lot of new things about the job of being a Moderator like how to handle F1's on both servers, in a calm and ordinary manner also without wasting time but this does not mean that I rushed them. I also have got to know the Zarp community better as I was going alone the way in the months time of me being a Moderator as I was getting more professional in my rank. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). There were quite a few but I'm only going to talk about two. On server 1 I was the only Moderator around and there were a whole bunch of F1's which I had to do on my own but I did manage in an hour or so. Also on server 2 the same thing happend just like in server 1 but instead of F1's there were loads of rule breakers RDMing, CDMing, spawn killing and more. I had to deal with them one by one taking them to places that I could talk to them quietly, I had to warn a few as they were ignoring me and carried on doing what they were doing which was breaking rules. Some time later a few more staff members arrived and everything was back to normal. If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Hello (NAME)! Firstly welcome to the Zarp team! I would like to congratulate you on your promotion! Today I will be teaching you everything what you need to know and do whilst you're doing your duties online in our servers! Firstly we will be talking about a few tools/commands you will need to use to help you out on your duties. The "Admin Keypad Scanner" is used if you do not know or if you are not sure if somebody is prop blocking or which they have a door with none or which have many keypads near them that can open anything. But if someone has made an F1 claiming that somebody has prop blocked you must use this tool to check if they are correct and to see if there is any other way in the base. The command "/tp" allows you to teleport to anywhere you are looking at or you can use this command to teleport people to yourself or if they are stuck in corners by just typing "/tp PLAYERSNAME" it is as simple as that! "/bring PLAYERNAME" is used to bring players/staff to you if they are rule breaking or if you are doing their F1 requests. It is just like "/tp" as there is nothing different from them both. "/goto PLAYERNAME" is very similar to "/bring" but instead of other players/staff it's you who are going to them if that player has been acused of breaking a rule by somebody who has made an F1 request. "/back PLAYERNAME" is used to teleport players/staff back to where they were which you have taken them. You can even bring yourself back to the place you were before as you teleported to somebody who needed your help. "/kick PLAYERNAME" is used to kick a player out who is refusing to speak to you or that is being disrespectful to people but I would preferabley use the "/warn PLAYERNAME" to give them a warning. I will talk more about this command below. "/warn PLAYERNAME" is used to warn rule breakers to stop them from breaking any more rules or for being disrespectful to you or any other people you find that they are being mean to. "/freeze PLAYERNAME" is used to stop people from running away from you while you are trying to talk to them about the F1 situation they are in or if they are being breaking any rules. "/slay PLAYERNAME" is a command that you can use to kill people for example, if a citizen is carrying a big weapon which that is against the rules. "/ignite PLAYERNAME" is used to set people on fire or even yourself but I highly don't recommend this because there are many other ways to punish a player. In my opinion I would recommend you to use the scoreboard for help just in case you do something wrong like teleport half the server to one place instead of one. I do admit that I had problems like this but it's not relevant to this e-mail. The scoreboard is a lot easier and safer to use. But you cannot warn players from it, you will have to type their names accurately as possible. You will also have a whole new F1 system. It will not be your normal F1 system as you have been using to call for admin help, this F1 system is used to answer other peoples F1 requests and handle them on your own or with staff members help if you wanted to. You can also check the logs from there just at the top right search bar. You will have to type the players name and a whole list will pop up saying what they have done like change jobs, get arrested or even killing or be killed by people which is very useful. All I want to say is congratulations again and enjoy being a Moderator on our DarkRP servers! Just remember, not to abuse your powers as some staff may report you and get you demoted. See you in-game! -Kryptic Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Firstly I will have to remember if I banned him for the propspam and if not the following will be my reply to them. Hello PLAYERNAME. Firstly I would like to thank you for your time and effort into this appeal. If you would have read the rules carefully in the first place this wouldn't have happend. I have decided to shorten your ban time to two weeks to make sure that you have learned the rules and to think about your actions. If I ever see you doing this again I will have to ban you again. Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). The main reason that I would like to become an Admin is because then I would make it more easier for me to deal with people and most of all prop block which I mostly encounter. I do my F1's to the best of my ability as I am a patient person. If a player needs my help I will be patient and friendly to them as possible. I will be responsible for the bans I make and that I would make sure that I will hand them out to the correct person. The Admin rank is not just abuse noclip and mess around, it means to have a great responsibility over yourself and the choices you make to make Zarp a better place to play for present and future players on both servers. It also means to help the community in every way possible as to train fresh moderators getting ready for their job. I try to be active as possible from now until I leave Zarp. I know that I have been offline for quite a while but the reasons are it's because of school and mock exams. I have to get ready for my final year in school to prepare for my future. The final reason for me becoming an Admin is because I am responsible for my actions, have motivation and prepare for my promotion. - Kryptic |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
