Estimated Server Time - I have played about 90 hours in total 50 hours on server 1 and 40 hours on server 2. i mainly play on server 2 now as i prefer the map so time on both servers may vary.

Questions -

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.-

Random Death Match most commonly known as RDM is when one player kills another player for no valid reason. It can also be classed as Rdm if someone shoots at a player for no reason but doesn't kill them. An example of rdm is player x says something but they are young so their voice is squeaky so player y kills him as he hates squeakers.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

New Life Rule or NLR as people know it as is when someone is killed and is not aloud to return to the area they died in for 3 minuets. NLR does not apply if you were rdmed because you weren't killed for an rp reason. If you return to the area before the NLR timer is up then you are breaking NLR that can get you warned. an example of this is player x has a nice base set up got printers going then player y raids him player x ends up dead and returns to the area to kill player y as he wants his printers. player y then reports him for NLR and player x is warned.


Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Say someone is advertising there shop or something in /ooc that would be wrong they need to use /advert for.
/ooc is only for question or public messages. an example of metagaming is Bob says in OOC, that he is being raided at main street in the hotel on the second floor, and he needs help. This gives Bob an advantage, as someone may come and help and Bob wins, therefor Bob gets an unfair advantage (unfair to other players). Bob would then get a warning or a verbal warning for his Metagaming.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.


I would first take player x up on a roof top or something so he's out of the way and ask him for his side of the story. after that i would tp player y up to the roof top and ask him why he killed player x if he gave me a different story i would then ask player x if he had screenshots or a recording he could send me as evidence. if not i would have to tell player x there is no further action i can take as there is no proof to show player y killed player x for a non rp reason. But if player x had evidence to prove player y killed him for an un-valid reason i would warn player y for rdm.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would check the logs to find out what time player x killed player y, if player y killed player x within 3 mins of player x killing player y then i would warn player y for breaking NLR. But if within that time the logs refreshed i would ask player x for proof as it doesn't show up. if there was no proof i would tell player x there is no further action i can take as there's no evidence to back it up.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would check to see how far through the raid is and see whether I should pull him out, if the raid had just started i would tell the raiders to wait as i need to speak with the owner as he was meta gaming. If they were half way through and all ready killed the owner anyway i would just tp the owner to me and verbally warn him about what meta gaming is and let him go. If he persists on doing it ill warn him for meta gaming.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).

I would like to be chosen for Mod rank as I understand the rules and agree to follow them. I've helped out new people to the server who didn't know what to do and reported players for disobeying the rules. Sometimes when I am on the server I see mods not doing their job and just abusing their powers. Admins working extremely hard and could probably do with some of the smaller issues they can’t be bothered to take care of. I haven’t been a admin or mod on any server before but I will treat all players equally if I’m chosen and will report staff members for not following the rules as they should respect the rules more than anyone else as their enforcing them. I will join in with TS3 dark RP meetings and give my opinion if there should be changes to rules. I will attended both Zarp server 1 and 2 as best I can and for as long as I am able to play for bearing in mind we are in the summer holidays and I do have a social life

Just read through your application and fix the errors, as I see quite a few speaking mistakes, and some things which you might of got mixed around with. Doing f1s, people might get confused.
