Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Killing someone without a real roleplay reason.
Example: John walks up Haxor with a shotgun and shoots him for no reason, just to kill. Some people find RDMing a hobby so they do it themselfs, walking around and ruining
ZARP for the hell of it. But then there is mass rdm, this is a action of somebody going around and mass murdering everyone they see, this is a bannable offense and shouldn't be done at anytime. You cannot kill someone from being provoked, I mainly see people getting admins and reporting someone for something they did, example: You shoot somebody and expect them not to shoot back, once you die you call an admin for rdm. That right there will get shrugged off because the admin and yourself knows that you did wrong. Now if you in a f1 and someone gets pissed off that your point is clear of their actions and they pull out a shotgun, that purely rdm, a real reason. Let me also take my time to talk about revenge rdm. Revenge rdm is when someone kills you, you go and hunt them to down and end up killing the person that just killed you moments ago, that would be breaking nlr AND revenge rdm, two warnings for something that you did isn't that worth it at all.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New life rule is a period of time that is given when you are killed. You cannot go back to that area for 3 minutes. That means, don't make excuses to go back there, don't revenge rdm, don't go ANYWHERE near your death point or it is considered breaking nlr.
Example: Someone raided your base and ended up killing you. you have to stay away from your death point or the people CAN kill you again ( if its your base ) and report you for breaking nlr, if you keep breaking, your nlr timer resets again and again and again, there is really no point in doing it at all. During a base raid, lets say you get mad about the people killing you and you have your uranium printer, you keep going back and you end up killing them, thats a major break of nlr because you repetivley kept going back and back and back just to get your printer back, if i'm not mistaken, the raiders are allowed to come back without warning and kill you and raid again, they could say, " I failed to raid his base because he kept breaking nlr and that prevented me from succesfuly raiding it, trust me, you don't want to go throught the mess of just breaking nlr to get your printer back from the raiders.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is using an external source to give people outside of the gameplay. Selling things through OOC I think can even be considered metagaming, you shouldn't sell things through ooc, tell your location through ooc, or tell people to meet up somewhere through ooc.
Example: (OOC) Haxor: KILL JOHNNY! HE'S AT THE FOUNTAIN! MG can also be used in, skype, teamspeak, etc. It is defined as ANY external source that you use to your advantage that's not in game. If you want to ask where you friend is in the map, just do /pm and that prevents metagame from happening because your using INGAME resources to ask where your friend is in a map. Many people use Skype to tell people where bases are and all that, if you know someones doing that, report it to an admin for use of metagame.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

While the logs show that player x did get killed by player y, I would ask for as screenshot, the logs aren't enough proof to accuse someone of rdm, for all I know player x might have attacked him If they could support that they did have a screenshot with enough evidence of player y actually killing. If the admins take witness, they could be warning the wrong person, person x could have mugged player y through the mic and then say, " well the logs show that i didn't do anything and the player y rdmed me"

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time
. I would have to warn player y for breaking NLR, as the logs show the kills where pretty close together by the same person. But I would also check if the deaths were done in the total of 3 minutes or if they were under the duration of 3 minutes apart.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would let Player x know that you cannot ask for help in out of character chat as it can be considered metagaming. I would explain WHY it isn't ok and that they could also use /pm to let their friend know that they are being raided. They could end up rather private messaging their friend and they help out rather then getting teleported away from your base or teleported to in your base and you get killed because it was a raid.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I think I have a lot of traits that can be used on ZARP. Yes sometimes we all get mad but I can stay really calm if and when someones trying to provoke me. On zarp one if someone needs help and the admins are busy, I LOVE to help the new players out with things, I tell them the basics, how to get money and how to properly setup a base. I've been working on handling rulebreakers and not freaking out if I was killed as Mayor or if I was a mutant and rdmed in the tunnels. I feel the helpful side in myself, where helping is my thing, motivation is my #1 thing that is keeping me from breaking in because of the rule breakers. I've been a mod in Minecraft, and an Admin on a sort-of-big Rust server. I enjoying doing things in the community and help make it better. For me helping people out with the rules is a habit, when ever someone types a question in chat, " what is the price of steel" etc, questions like those im usally first one to respond. I know for a fact i've read over the Motd about 20 times now, to make sure I don't accidently doing anything wrong to someone, (even though we all make mistakes). If someone does rdm or nlr, I don't go screaming RDM! RDM or if someone comes back to raid my base after killing them I don't scream NLR! NLR! either, I try to explain to the person what they're doing wrong, after all, we all learn from mistakes!

Hadouken is really calm and friendly;and always up for role playing. I've never seem him break a single rule or be rude, or inpolite to anyone.
He also doesn't take things too seriously, like if he loses printers, or weapons to someone breaking the rules he wont rage or even seem effected by it which is something nice to see in players.
Hadouken is Zarps default Mayor which I feel shows others like him and he is well intigrated into the Zarp community.

Overall I feel that Hadouken will be a vauled staff member and someone who will work hard and take his role seriously.

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.

As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted.

Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training..

You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily.

Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team.
