Before starting i would just like to clarify occam's razor. Which is a principle of parsimony, economy, or succinctness used in problem-solving devised by William of Ockham (c. 1287–1347). It states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Other, more complicated solutions may ultimately prove correct, but—in the absence of certainty—the fewer assumptions that are made, the better. (source = wiki)

Semi-Serious Role Play (SSRP)

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (RDM) is an event that means that one player kills another player by either impulse, without any valid motive or without getting provoked to committing said kill.
Example: Player X runs past player Y on an empty street, Player X turns around and shoots Player Y to death. Here Player X clearly breaks all three of my interpretation of RDM, although just one of the interpretations needs to be broken for it to count as an RDM.
Additional information: CDM is another variation of RDM that stands for Car Death Match, where the same interpretations apply but they are broken with the use of a car.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule (NLR) is a rule that prohibits a player from returning to an area they have died in for 3 minutes.
Example: Player X had just gotten over the fact he was RDMed by player Y now that he has built himself a nice base, and even better, Player X just upgraded his money printers to max! But then, while collecting his printer money he hear some voices saying something about raiding. Then the voices stop, complete silent rules, Player X gets more nervous by each passing moment. Then the silence is broken by a sizzling sound getting louder and lou- BOOM, he is pushed to the wall and hear the voices saying "Get in and take his printers! KOS on Player X" Already low on health and armor, he arms himself with his trusty python, but to no avail, with full health and 150 armor the raiders annihilates him. Devasted by the turn of events he runs as fast as he can to the armor guy and buys 150 armor and takes out another python from his inventory. Running as fast as his feets lets him, he sees the raiders as they are exiting the base, with his money printers. Being hesitant to breaking NLR he sees player Y having the most vile grin imaginable. Reason is with player X no more as he run guns blazing towards the raiders. This is no happy story, the raiders laughs at him as they gun him down with their superior weapons, as his second life fadeth away, they screameth to him "Get rekt faggit" and "NLR breaking mingefag" Here he breaks NLR as he runs back to his base as soon as he spawns trying to defend his printers.
Additional information: There are atleast one exception to this rule, which is police when the area NLR is in effect in is the Police Base.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
In a simple term Metagaming is using out of character information in game to give them an advantage.
Example: Pedro the corrupt police (PCP) is having a walk, he then spots some red text that is rotating just long enough outside a wall to be seen, being able to see the word "Cocain" he immediately makes the owner of the property wanted, bashes in the door and arrests him for illegal drugs. The character Pedro can't see the rotating text, but since the player can, he uses this to coordinate pedros actions so he can arrest the owner of the drugs.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x

I would first teleport Player X to a calmer place like a rooftop or some other non active area and ask him what happned in detail. If i think that Player X's story holds ground for a RDM situation i would teleport player Y to me and ask for his side of the story. If they match up i would deem it RDM and ask of player Y to reimburse Player X in a fitting manner. If they don't add up i would ask Player X to give proof, and if unable to give proof i would probably decide using occam's razor as a means of judgement, but even if i found Player Y guilty using occam's razor that wouldn't be enough to give him more than a verbal warning. (If it keeps happening i would contact an admin to get a peer opinion of the verdict)

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would go to Player X and ask him for details, if the story is valid to be considered NLR i would bring Player Y and ask him about is , if he pleads guilty to the story i would ask him to reimburse player X in a fitting manner. If not i would ask Player X to give me any kind of evidence, and if he is unable to give any evidence i would still give player Y a verbal warning since occam's razor would practically always be in Player X favor by the fact that its peak time.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would first of all tell everybody to ignore that, and then tell him that he can´t metagame and give a brief explanation to what metagaming is.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I have played lots and lots of RP on many different server, but ZARP is one of my favorite RP servers when there is mods or admins around, but this turns to be the opposite when neither a mod or admin is online since it goes from white to black in an instant where the rich are bullying the poor. And this is really sad since most servers are usually at a gray area all the time where as ZARP is white until there isnt a mod or admin on anymore. Thats my motivation for becoming a mod on ZARP. Why do I qualify as a mod? Well, I would like to think I am very just when it comes to rulebreaking and tolerance to rulebreakers. Im nice when im not angry, but since i know my limits i would step down from being a mod at the time if i feel i can't make an unbiased verdict. And i always try to see it from both players perspective and create my judgement from that. I feel i can make a difference in the ZARP community for the better, and thats why i want to become a mod. Knowing the rules is ofcourse a given, so is being polite.

Thank you for reading my application, if you see anything wrong with it feedback is deeply appreciated :)
