Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
I think that I come on the server more now that I'm a moderator and that being staff on one of the best servers on DarkRP is a real honour and that I have now got to know more staff on the server. I think that now I have Learn't to use all the Moderator tools it will make it easier to use all the admin tools.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
One of the obstacles I have had to work around as a moderator is when i got an F1 about someone Propblocking someones shop. So I thought it was going to be urgent so I went there. When I TPed the Gun Dealer was dening that he had ever made an F1 in the first place. So I kept on telling him that he had made an F1 but he still denied it so in the end the Gun Dealer pulled out a gun and threatend to shoot me if I didn't go so I left him to it.
If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello, In this email I will be teaching you all of your new commands and how to use them efficiently. But first I would just like you congratulate you with your new promotion. Ok now lets move onto the commands:
Firstly, you have a number of teleportation commands.
/tp <Player> <Player> This command allows you to teleport certain players (including yourself) to the location where your crosshair is pointing. You can use it in a number of ways. /tp will teleport you to where you are looking. ./tp <player> will teleport the selected player to where you are looking. And finally /tp <player> <player> will teleport the first player to the second player. This is used in F1 situations
/bring <player> This command teleports the selected player to you. This is used in F1 situations.
/goto <player> This command teleports you to the selected player. Can be used in an F1 situation to goto the player who created it.
/back <player> This allows you to teleport the selected player (or yourself if no player is selected) to their previous location before being teleported. Used at the end of an F1 when you are finished with the reported player.
There are also other commands that you have access to.
/kick <player> <reason> This kicks the selected player. Used if someone is propspamming and no admins are on.
/freeze <payer> This freezes the selected player in place. Used if someone is running away from your F1. (Use /unfreeze <player> to let them move again)
/ignite <player> This lights a player on fire. Used as a punishment for a player. However I wouldn’t recommend using it too often/at all.
/slap <player> This slaps a player. Used as a punishment towards a player. But I wouldn’t really use it much.
/slay <player> Kills the selected player. Used as a punishment. Again, I wouldn’t really use this.
/mute <player> Makes the selected player unable to talk. Used if someone is micspamming in your F1 situation.
Here are some ‘tips’ on being a moderator.
-Do F1s! You have volunteered for this job to help the community.
-Use the ‘Admin Keypad Checker’ to check fading doors. Left click on keypad, shows door’s hold time. Left click on door prop. Shows keypads connected to it. Right click, resets the tool.
-Don’t be afraid to ask for help from an admin or super admin. They have applied for that job and it is their job to help other staff and players.
-You can add a bind to make the /tp command easier. (In console type the following: bind <key>”say /tp”) This will do the command every time the selected button is pressed.
-DON’T ABUSE POWERS!
Once again congratulations on becoming a Moderator on SSRP!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would reply to his appeal with the following:
Hello <player>. I banned you from the server for propspamming. This is a very serious offence that we cannot take lightly because it can crash the server. However, you have clearly put a lot of time and effort into your appeal which shows that you are really dedicated to the ZARP Gaming Community. Because of this I will be shortening your ban to a temporary ban of 2 weeks.
Appeal
ACCEPTED, ban shortened to 2 weeks.
Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I think I should be promoted because I respect all staff members, have not been warned as moderator I can be trusted with information about the server which has to be kept secret. I would never abuse my powers. I want to STOP all the rule breakers among the ZARP community. I would help people who need it and help all the new people who join ZARP. I have a good knowledge of the rules here on ZARP. I try my best to help all the people who need it But these aren’t the only things, I will be a good RPer and have a laugh with the other players among ZARP. I would like to help the ZARP staff improve the server(Not that it needs it).I think that having the ability to no-clip will help me in many different ways E.G. fly round to find rule breakers. Admin will enable me to make events which can allow people have more fun on the server.
Thanks For Reading Hope You Enjoy.
