Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example.
-Known as RDM, basically you kill a person/people for no reason.
EXAMPLE: Man A walks into a building and Man B walks behind Man A and shoot him.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example.
-Known as NLR, basically you come back to the same spot where you died in a limited time.
EXAMPLE: Man A got shot by Man B, Man A spawns and might attempt to break NLR by walking back to the same spot he died.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example.
-Metagaming means when you use knowledge from a character you played, or a dead character.
EXAMPLE: Man A types in chat "Dude! Man B is RDMING" instead of using the OOC mode. Which the OOC mode in ZARP can be used by typing "// " in front of the text you want to say to avoid getting warned by Metagaming.
Explain how to handle this situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First I would ask the reason for killing player x. I would judge the answer, if the answer make sense, I would let them go. But if the answer doesn't make sense, I would give player y a warning.
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would take no warnings, since player y did not cross the line for a big amount of time. But if he does it again, I will have to warn him.
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would call player x to meet me on the top of a roof, and say that he is Metagaming because saying that his bank is being raided in the "Out Of Character Mode" doesn't make any sense. I will also give him a warning.
Why I should be chosen? (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I would like people playing at ZARP to be friendly and fair. If I get to be a moderator I will do my best to judge people and not judge them by who they are or how popular the player is. I will also try to help ned players to learn to play friendly and fair. I will come on ZARP whenever I can. I would be a good moderator because, i know the basic rules, I will be willing to do it because I love to help people learn and have fun at the same time. I am expecting to have fun experiences with my new job [if I get the job.] I love putting someone else's perspective to mine, and it helps with this job. I can't wait to see the results!
