TOPIC: [SSRP MODERATOR] Highlanders application

Hello

I would like to say that previously i put in a application for Zarp and thanks to the admins gave me some very good feedback on my app and where i needed to improve on and i have tried my best not just to play on the server a little more but to try and help the general ZARP community. I have put in one hundred percent effort in to improving my gameing time and to get to know the ZARP players and i hope that the admins see the potential in me to up hold the rules of this fun server.

NOTE:I have played on many servers and this one by far is the best and i would like nothing more to be apart of this kind and wondefull staff. Hope that you enjoy reading my application and will be looking forward to feedback

Estimated Server Time: i am actually not sure but have been on ZARP a long time on steam i have 219 hours on G MOD and most of which has been spent on ZARP. Im sure someone in the feedback will enlighten me 

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. RDM also know as Random Death Match is when a player kill one other without a valid RP reason for doing this. This would be a fail RP. This rule is what keeps RP alive and does not ruin the game scenario: Bob is working in the mines then Jimmy comes pulls out a gun and kills with no reason/cummincation.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New Life Rule also known as NLR is a wonderfull and important RP rule that stops players from returning to his death location within 3 minutes. It also means that the player that has died must continue RP as if he had no memory of his last life . This is to stop the players that have died to return and get revenge Scenario: Garry home is being raided by Tom Tom kills Garry and Garry comes back to his point within 3 minutes of death in order to kill Garry tis is NLR

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagameing is the rule that stops players from revealing important RP information out of characters about an in character situation. An example would be if a house is being raided and the Bob decides to call Christopher on steam/skype or go on TeamSpeak . To call for help this would be Metagaming.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. Firstly i would GOTO player x and thank him for not screaming in OOC or spam ADVERT and for using the f1 report system then i would ask player x what the issue is at this point player x would have told me about the incident of the RDM i would now go t the logs and check to see if this is true or false if it is true i would bring player y and try to get a clearer picture of the situation. At this point i would go about asking them questions of how this happened such as what they we doing and how they got in this conflict. Then i would ask for proff such as a screen shot or a video. Then i would ask player y if he had a good RP reason for committing RDM against player y. Now using all the answers and information i have gathered i would decide if he has broken RDM if no i would drop the f1 if yes i would issue him a warning whilst explain why i have issued this then i would say have a good day and be ready for my situations.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Firstly i would tp to x and thank him for using the f1 complaint system and not shouting in ooc and not spam advert for admin. Now i would ask x what i could help him with learning about the NLR situation i would immediately check the logs and then i would ask for player x side of the story asking questions of how and they got engaged into roleplay situation now i would BRING player y over and do the same by asking questions and for his side of the story. Now after gathering answers and evidence and the logs do show that y did commit NLR i would ask y if he did brake NLR if he did i would give him a personal warning but if he denies and lies i would give him a warning for lieing and for the NLR rule breach and explain y i have done this if he didn’t understand. Then i would fair them a good day drop the F1 complaint and continue for more situations.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided: Firstly i would tp to player x and kindly explain that he can not do this and is infact metagameing i would now give player x a personal warning not to do this again and would wait for any other players such as player y to come and to send him off as he should not be here if there were no other f1 or any other situations i would be in at that moment in time.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I think i should be chosen as i have great knowledge and understanding of the rules and how being and member of staff requires great dedication and responsibility as i am not just a active player but also fun and not afraid to mingle with other players. I would also like to add that i am not sad but pretty much stay on ZARP all day and night and notice that there are few admin in some cases none in the early mornings i also notice that this is when the rule breaking happens especially RDM this is when the whole point of RP is destroyed as i stay up to late hours and come on early in the morning i think i could serve the server and ZARP community/players a great deal. I have admined on many servers but after being inactive due to being in hospital i have no admins on any server and i would like nothing more to be a staff member and to have the power to actually help people to make the ZARP gameing community a better place. I have never been kickt or banned from ZARP as a play by the rules and love and adore the fact of RP. I get along with all of the staff i have encountered and would love to be part of this wonderfull and kind team.

I suggest you to split your time between server 1 and 2 so you get activity on both.

Anyways Scotsman, your server time on ZARP is only 25 hours. I suggest that you increase your server time, play on server 2, and re-apply in a week or two.

I resigned for several reason, some confidential and some normal ones. The main reason was my inactivity.

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.


As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted.

Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training..
