Languages I speak: English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Random Death Matching (RDM) refers to when a player kills another player with no valid role play reason. For example, shooting people at random from a building; as that player has no real role play reason to want to kill those other players as they have no in game relationship. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New Life Rule (NRL) refers to the time given to a player that restricts them from returning to their place of death for three minutes. To give a popular scenario; when a shop keeper gets killed during a raid of their shop and comes back immediately to either kill the raiders or save his stock. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming refers to when players share in game information out of character. For example, if a hitman is looking for a someone with a bounty on their head and another player revels that players location either through the Out of Character (OOC) chat or another IM chat (Skype Teamspseak etc.) that would be breaking the metagaming rule. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided If this were to happen, I would go to Player X and explain to him what he was doing was metagaming, with a brief explanation of what metagaming is; ask them to please not do this again or they will get a warning. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I believe I would do a good a job as anyone really; however I have applied because:

Your application is one of the best formatted i have see for a while. The knowledge of the rules is perfect and i have seen you a lot in game. So a very active player that has a good understanding of the rules looks like the perfect moderator material. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
