Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.

Random Death Match is when you Randomly Shoot / Kill someone without there permission.
For example, I am running down the street from spawn, someone comes with a pistol and head shots me, that would be counted as an RDM offense.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

New Life Rule is when you return to the place you died before a certain time is up for Role play reasons.
For example, if i am in a team fight and i get killed, then return to the area while not waiting my set NLR time to tick down, it will count as an NLR offense.


Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Metagaming is when you use an outside source of information to gain in game knowledge of a situation.
For example, like if you learn how to dupe items off of you tube for example, that is counted as Metagaming.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

You would let player X explain the situation, then call player Y over to explain his side of the story.
After they have said both sides, ask if they have any evidence, like screenshots / video evidence to actually show it happened, then if they do, you can give out the necessary punishment. E.g. temporary ban, warning, kick.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

Go to them, and allow them to tell you what happened. Ask if they have any evidence to give about the NLR break and if they do and it shows them breaking NLR, then I would give out the necessary punishment.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would tell him not to mention in game context in the OOC chat, as it is intended for Out Of Character talk only.


Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).

I think i should be chosen because although i have only spent 35 hours on the 2 Dark RP servers combined, i have been involved in many incidents which included the staff about another person rule breaking, and during those times, I have seen how the Admins / Mods did their job so i could have some experience if I ever became a Mod. As a Mod i would never abuse my level of power over normal players, but I would make them more comfortable on the servers so that they stay that little while longer so they can enjoy themselves. I will always ask for evidence at a situation, but i might not need some if I see it happening with my own eyes. If someone commits a serious rule break, i will try call for an admin, or try to deal with them if an admin is not available. I will spend most of my time on server 2 because of the lack of rule enforcing, and rule breaking on that server.

1. Your description of metagaming is a little wonkey and im 90% sure you had to coppy paste the first part.
2. Temp ban for rdm?! maybe mas rdm or a repeating offender but not a one off incedent.
3. Your plea for moderator. It's not a good thing that you have "been involved in many incidents"

Hey Tobftw! Great to see you apply for another ZARP position. I returned a week or so ago aswell!

As you may know, I am quite strict when it comes to applications, and you probably guessed it, but your's no exception. (me trying to be spooky.)

The positive things about this application
- Knowledgeable of most of the rules. Needs some improvement on RDM and Metagaming (seen in the negative parts of this application)
- Had former Moderator on the TTT server, but that was 3-4 months ago. May have gotten rusty.
- Decent amount of time on the server. At least enough to apply for moderator. Could improve.

Neutral about this application
- Temp Ban for a single RDM seems like a bit too much, however, if the person has been lying and found out to have RDM'd him, I feel like this would be a good punishment.

The negative things about this application
- Metagaming explanation doesn't explain what metagaming is. It explains that if you see a similar situation on Youtube, it's immediately seen as rule breaking.
- RDM explanation says "without permission". Using this logic, every time I got raided means I got RDM'd, or I RDM'd myself, because I never gave them permission to kill me, and neither did they.
- The part about people talking in OOC seems a bit shallow. It is most likely assumed that you also have to answer what you would do if the player continues talking about IC in OOC.

Verdict:

Reasons:
The bad outweighs the good, but some of the stuff I said is just nitpicking. Experience in a server that works totally different won't save you in DarkRP. I suggest you improve your game time and knowledge of the rules before attempting to apply again.
