Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. My time as moderator has trained me for being ready when it comes to be more responsible. It's been a great experience, but gaining more power gives you more control over players, which will lead into a clean and nice server. But, Moderator has limited powers, I've went through hard obstacles with those limited powers, which shows how truly I've been doing as moderator. But sometimes, there will be a lot of minges. Which will require a ban. Sometimes it's been hard going through bases, to base check or deploying on a F1. All of those I've explained, has contributed me for further responsibility. Which I will be glad to have.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
So, once there was a RDM F1. 2 Russians. I've tried to talk to them. But they do not understand, after thus I've used Google translate, they've understood a bit. But still not fully understood, I tried every single solution, none worked. Luckly, after 10 minutes of trying to communicate, I've found a Russian who speaks English. He translated to me, and everything went smoothly. I think this was the hardest situation I've encountered.
If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello, welcome to the Zarp Community Staff Team.
Thank you for your time and effort into applying for Moderator. We do hope you do good. Now I'll be training you to be a very behaved and experienced staff member!
Alright to start off, I'll be showing you the commands & what they're used for.
/ignite <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command ignites a player"
/unignite <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command extinguishes a player"
It's Use: This command is for the punishment section. This command isn't used often cause a warning command is available (Will get to that soon). But this command is used for punishments.
▬▬▬
/slay <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command slays a player"
It's Use: This command is used for punishments or bugged players. For example, if a player is bugged
"EXAMPLE: A player has all cop items, but he's a citizen. Slaying him might fix the problem" Now for the punishment. If a player NLR's, it's up to you to slay him or warn him. If he breaks NLR 2x in a row, you slay him (
Your Choice)
▬▬▬
/freeze <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command freezes a player"
It's Use: This command is very helpful, it's use is also known to freeze a player if he | runs away from a F1 | attempts to shoot a person in a F1 | Or he's ignoring you by walking away | Etc.. It has many good uses. For example
"Player X runs away for a F1, Staff Member freezes him. Player Y attempts to shoot a player during a F1, Staff Member freezes him. Etc.. TIP: This command also stops players from able to shoot their weapons or use them.
/unfreeze <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command unfreezes a player"
▬▬▬
/warn <PlayerName|SteamID> <Reason> "This command warns a player"
It's Use: Now, this is the most important command besides all. This command is used when players break rules such as,
"EXAMPLE: Player X says in ooc "Hey Staff You suck ass, you f**king c**nts!". To warn him, write /warn playerx Disrespect!" Also, after 3 warnings, a player is automatically kicked, after 1 more warning, the player is temp banned for 1 hour automatically. So this is basically it!
/unwarn <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command is used to
unwarn a player"
▬▬▬
/kick <PlayerName|SteamID> <Reason> "This command is used to kick players"
It's Use: This command is used for massive minge. This kicks a player out of the server, it's mostly used when a player prop spams, or massively RDMs, or even massive disrespect or offensive trolling. This command is most important. Use it when it is needed.
▬▬▬
/goto <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command teleports you to players"
It's Use: This command teleport you to a player. But be careful, when teleporting to someone always check the orange box at the right, check if it shows the players name you're teleporting to. For example:
Player name BallofFire and another player named BallofIce. If you write: "/goto ball" this will take you to one of the players. But instead if you find this situation happening, press TAB press on the victims name then copy his SteamID then do this. EG: /goto steamid:1234567" This TIP is also useful when | Kicking | Igniting | Slaying | Warning | Etc, for almost all commands.
▬▬▬
/Bring <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command summons/brings a player to you"
It's Use: This command brings a player to your location. This is easy to understand, but also use the TIP I gave you in the "/goto" lesson, because many staff have had an accident and teleported all players to their location. For example, a staff writes "/bring T" that bringed all players with T in their name, which you don't want that to happen.
▬▬▬
/Tp <PlayerName|SteamID>" "This command teleports you to where your cursor is aiming"
It's Use: Now, this is a very helpful command, it lets you go to a different location fast and easy. All you have to do is aim your cursor to a location, then write in chat
"/TP" and it will take you to where you cursor was aiming. You can also do it on players, were you aim where you want the player to be teleported to and then write
"
/Tp <PlayerName|SteamID>" and it will teleport the selected player to where your cursor is aiming.
TIP:Bind /Tp For Easy Teleporting. (EG: Bind (Key) "say /tp") Without brackets, but keep those (
" )
▬▬▬
/Slap <PlayerName|SteamID> <Damage> <How Many> "This command slaps a player high into the sky"
It's Use: This command is mostly used for punishments, it certainly has no other use than punishments.
▬▬▬
/Back <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command takes the player back to where he was"
It's Use: This command only works when you bring the player using the
"/Tp Command" which is specified how to use it above.
▬▬▬
/Voicemute <PlayerName|SteamID> "This command is used to gag players microphones"
It's Use: This command is mostly used for mic spammers. When a player spams random things on his microphone, this command should be used. Or even when he attempts to play music while he's not a radio manager.
/unvoicemute "This command ungags the player, so he can talk on his microphone again"
Well, that's about it for the command lessons! Now, your powers cannot be used when you're off duty. You can do F1's while in a RP job. But if there's other Mod on Duties on, then don't bother doing them! Do not use your powers to help your self in RP situations, such as when raiding a base you may not teleport inside for faster action. This might lead to a instant demote! If you ever find that the F1 you're handling is hard, contact another staff by writing " /// (message) " this is the admin chat! Don't worry, don't be afraid to call for help!
If you have any further questions, contact me on Steam|Teamspeak|Ingame. Good luck!

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello, as I see, you put a lot of effort into your unban appeal, with very great details. You seem to care about what happened, I think you've understood your lesson. For putting a lot of great effort into your application, and apologizing I will reduce your ban to 2 days. Hope you do a lot better. Have a nice day.
Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). To start off! I'm a very experienced staff member now, friendly players have even asked me to apply for Administrator. Because of this friendly community, and friendly staff & a lot of F1's, I've learnt how to control my powers and use them correctly, I think I should be promoted cause I'm prepared and ready for further responsibility. My time and moderating time has lead me to be a lot more friendly and very helpful staff member towards the community, I think I deserve this because I put a lot of time and effort into contributing my time for this great community! Also my time observing other Administrators has gave me advises for this great responsibility I might receive. It was a big honor for being moderator, but now I think I deserve higher powers to have more control over players. I'm also a very active player with a lot contributions to this community.
Thank you for reading my application!
If you find it great please leave a +Support!
