This section will cover all the general information, like Steam Name, ID, etc.
The staff team needs to know your Steam Name, mainly for being able to see how well you do on the server in terms of rule following, helping other people, etc.
Link to Steam Profile:
Your profile will be checked for prior VAC bans, Gmod play time, and to find make sure they get the right SteamID.
You can find your profile by scrolling over your name and clicking "profile". From there, copy the url. It should look something like
steamcommunity.com/id/(numbers/name)/.
Your SteamID is the ID that is bound to your account, and can't be changed under any circumstances. SteamID's are used to ban people, since if people were banned using names, they could easily change it and join the server again. SteamID always look like
STEAM_0:X:XXXXXX, where the X is replaced with random numbers.
An easy way to find your SteamID is by using
SteamID Finder. Using your profile link you got in the previous step, you can find your SteamID by pasting the link there. It should show your SteamID, Profile name and if you're online, offline, or in-game.
Current Gametracker Profiles
Gametracker is a third-party website that tracks gametimes and scores for players on servers that have their plug-ins. This mainly used to check how long people have played on the server, which the staff use to check if you played on the server enough to completely understand the rules.
You can get your Gametracker link by going to the respective server and looking up your profile name. Here's a link to all the Gametracker Links:
People that are older tend to be more mature, which is why the staff would like to know how old you are. Please note that this doesn't change a lot, since there are also very young people that are more mature than people that are way older.
This is basically the same as Gametracker, but if you use multiple names, you may wanna add those up (and if you haven't yet, link these up aswell in the Gametracker Section).
Although basic English skills are enough to be a moderator, it's always useful to know more languages so you can help certain people that aren't good at English themselves. Most people on the servers tend to be English or Dutch (this is from my experience).
