Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
I feel that I have learned alot during my time as a moderator. I really enjoy my time on the server, and I really enjoy helping the players. I have loved every minute of being a moderator. I enjoy doing F1's and helping the players. As a mod, there is some things I can not do. I feel like I should be promoted so I can help even more.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
There was a player that broke alot of base rules. I spent around 10 minutes trying to explain to him what he should change and why. He was very denial in the beginning, but after showing him the rules he changed his base. But after a while, he changed it back to the obstacles. He then kept arguing and refused to change it. After his 3 warnings, he came back and got extremely mad at me.
If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello name! Congratulations on becoming a moderator here on ZARP. There is a few things you should think about while you are on duty and doing F1's. First of all, remember that you are a representative of ZARP community. You should always be professional and stay calm. I will now explain the most important commands you have access to.
/tp <Player> (This command is to teleport yourself or another player to where you are looking. If you do not add a name after the command, you will TP yourself. You can bind this command using the console. Example: bind key "say /tp")
/goto <Player> (Teleports yourself to the targeted player.)
/bring <Player> (Teleports the targeted player to you.)
/kick <Player> [Reason] (Kicks the targeted player from the server. Only use this if you really have to. Example: A propspammer trying to crash the server.)
/warn <Player> [Reason] (Warns the targeted player. Use this if the player breaks rules.)
/unwarn <Player> (Remove a warning from the player.)
/freeze <Player> (Freezes a player, making him unable to move. Use this when someone you need to talk to runs away. Remember to unfreeze after.)
/unfreeze <Player> (Unfreezes a player.)
/ignite <Player> [Time] (Sets a player on fire for a certain amount of time. If you do not set a time, he will burn until he dies)
/unignite <Player> (Unignites the targeted player)
/slay <Player> [Normal/Silent/Explode/Rocket] (Kills the targeted player. You can for example use this to slay citizens with big guns to make them loose the gun.)
/slap <Player> [Damage per slap] [How many times the player will be slapped] (This is a sort of punishment for rulebreakers.)
/voicemute <Player> (Use this to mute a player so he can not talk using his microphone. This is used mainly for people micspamming. Remember to unmute.)
/unvoicemute <Player> (Use this to allow the muted player to talk using his mic again.)
/back <Player> (Teleports a player back to his last location. After you teleport him to a F1, you can use that to get him back)
Good luck with your new rank. If you need help, you can message me, or another administrator. Do not be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
Regards, Pepper.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello X.
I banned you for propspamming. I see in your appeal that you are sorry for what you did. But you did break a rule, so punishment is still necessary. Since this is your first ban, I have shortened the ban to 3 days.
Regards, Pepper.
Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words):
I think I should be promoted to admin because I love helping. I have good knowledge of the rules, and I am always on the look for rulebreakers to keep the server clean. I know how to handle F1's professionally, and calm. I feel like there is more I can help players with as an admin. For example propblocks and more.
I have really enjoyed my time as a moderator. I love to help players with their F1's. When a player breaks rules, and he does not know what the rule he broke means, I help the player find the rule in !motd and I help them explain it. I feel like there is more I can do as an admin. There has been situations where there has been no admins online and they propblock. Since I spend most of my day playing games, there will almost always be an admin online.
Thank you for reading my application.
