RP Name: Its Harpering Time!
Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/itsgriefingtime/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:52825695 Current Gametracker Profile: www.gametracker.com/player/Its%20griefin.../94.23.19.200:27015/ Age: I am currently 13 years old. Estimated Server Time: I have roughly played around 174 hours on the server. Languages I speak: I speak (US and UK) English, I speak some French and a slight amount of German however I plan to learn more of these languages in the future. Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin: My time as moderator has been around a month now and I have been told many times that I handle F1's efficiently and fast, I have warned multiple people for many different reasons and I handle the F1's whenever I can. The fact of being Moderator though has trained me in fully understanding the rules and how many players will attempt to break them or loophole through breaking a rule. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): I once was handling an F1 with a person (I forgot his/her name unfortunatly) and he/she were mass RDM'ing nearly everyone and continued to do so, I warned him for RDM. He then killed yet another person, so another warning. And then 3 warnings due to 3x RDM, he came back and I told them not to RDM anyone else as it is a one hour ban if he got another warning. He continued to RDM and then straight after, a person with a similar name came online and started doing the exact same thing as the other dude was doing before. It took me aobut 15 minutes to get these people to stop RDM'ing and it was quite difficult. If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Hello, Example! Thank you for taking the time for applying to become a Moderator, and as you can see it has paid off! However, before we can promote you I will have to give you a brief training of your Moderator duties. The main things to know are: Handle the F1's whenever you can, this is an expectation of all staff members, on or off duty it should be done. If you have a problem in an F1 and need help, you can signal another Staff Member by using /// [Message], this is the Staff Chat. Bind /teleport command to a key of your choice by doing (bind "p" "say /teleport") you should also bind this command: (bind "h" "say Hello I am here to respond to your F1 request, how can I help you?") so when you go to an F1 you can say that in a flash. And before you handle any F1's, please re-check the rules just to be sure on what you're doing. Now some other stuff you need to know: Don't abuse the position for anything! Even if someone is going to pay you 20 million in game dollars, it will end up in many people being shocked and you losing your trust of the other staff members, also do not unwarn people without reason, only unwarn people if you have accidently warned them or they were innocent (Don't unwarn players that other staff have warned at all for various reasons). Thank you for reading this so far and remember, to handle an F1 press F1 your self and right click an F1, handle this F1 and then press Goto on the F1, very simple. Now here are all the commands you can use and you will have to use in moderating. /goto [Player Name] (This teleports you to a player) /bring [Player Name] (This brings a player to you) /freeze [Player Name] (This freezes a player if they are running from an F1 etc) /slap [Player Name] (This command is really pointless, just slaps the player for no reason what-so-ever) /slay [Player Name] (This commands kills a player, you probably won't need to use it though.) /ignite [Player Name] (Sets the player on fire, really pointless as well) /warn [Player Name] [Reason] (This is the most commonly used command, simply warns a player for a reason) /unwarn [Player Name] (This command unwarns a player if accidently warned, but you don't put a reason to unwarn.) /teleport (Teleports to where you are looking at, pretty useful.) Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? It depends how badly they prop spammed, but I would respond as: Hello, thank you for appealing your ban. I have banned you for propspam and I don't want to see this in future as propspam can crash the server and cause major lag. However, you have took a lot of time into this unban appeal so I will shorten it to a day, I do not want to see this in future as I have given you a chance already because of your good unban application, but next time it is Why I should be promoted: I Should be promoted to Administraitor because I have spent around 4 weeks perfecting my staff skills, I have gotten to know how players loophole around rules and how they plan to break them and hide if they have broken any. I have made friends with many of the staff and have gotten to know them and how they do stuff like handling F1's. I believe I am quite active on the server and I am told I handle F1's efficiently and fast and that I would be a great admin. Many of the players think I am a good staff member at the moment so I get along with many of the players quite well. I have only broken a few rules since I've became moderator (2 were accidental CDM due to my car sliding onto a pavement and killing someone, and the other was for warning another mod which I didn't know was not allowed at the time) and I plan to not break any if I become admin. My time as moderator has trained my quite a lot about the rules and how to enforce them and handling F1's, I have never abused this position I don't beleive and I won't abuse the Administraitor permissions. I've showed up on every meeting we have and I left when the meeting was over and I have not been kicked from any (Maybe verbal warned once though). |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Unfortunately as more staff members voted 'no' than 'yes', the application has been denied. However, the meeting host has taken some criticisms made by the admins and provided you with this feedback: Needs more time as a mod and improve on administrative ability. You are welcome to apply again at any point. |
