bad news
apparently the rainbow effect fills up over the bbcode limit. so I'll have to stick with some basic things ______________________________________ RP Name: Swegi Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/somecooIdudeoverhere SteamID: STEAM_0:1:61030826 Current Gametracker Profile: (find here) I lack a gametracker profile so you can have this Age: 13. Estimated Server Time: 200+ Languages I speak: Romanian ( Fluent ) English ( Even more fluent ) German ( trying to, I know a little bit ) French. Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. Obviously gaining more experience about what do I expect with the big boy stuff, the basic commands and basic staff rules. so I don't really see word-limit on this thing plus the fact that I don't really have anything else to say - unless I go way off-topic. Especially gaining experience with dealing with various situations. It's been easy mode for now but becoming an admin takes more responsibilities and requires more training. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). Soo I had this F1 where two friends were basing. They were being raided, and the one which owned the doors and the props crashed. His power cut off, or whatever. The raider took ownership of the doors and locked them outside. First hard thing was to get inside with /tp. It took me a while to think about doing /tp to the base hijacker. I really had no clue what to do. I brought the other guy, he said he wants his printers back at least. I've been thinking about 10 minutes while the original base-owners were yelling at the raider. I had no clue, I've messaged various admins and no actual answer. After 5 more good minutes a guy came inside with a grenade launcher, literally smashed the base, killed the hijacker and gave the printers back. After that, Chris replied to me what to do. He told me that I should do what I think and see who's the prick in the situation. I didn't really want to go with the idea of telling the base-owners they'll have to deal with it because I'll have to see them everyday and not forget about the rage. Especially the fact that they threatened the hi-jacker they'll take everything with force if I won't do anything. Soo I guess thanks GL. The rest were basic and weren't difficult to deal with. So that's nice, at least I got a taste of the danger. If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? ( don't expect me to be serious, I'm always joking around. 200-300 words with these words and the rest excluded.) Hi man, congratulations on the moderation application. Welcome to a world of frustation and being yelled at for not doing your job right. But don't worry, I'm sure that won't happen ( except being yelled at ). Anyway. I'm pretty sure that you're going to be taught better than I'll teach you right now, since before you get your rank, you'll have to go through a process with a superadmin to give you the rank and packed up with a bag of joy you'll also get some tips about the commands. Here are some of the basic ones /tp or /teleport. Both work, you can use /tp to teleport yourself to the place you're aiming. You can add a name after the command to teleport a player to the place where you're aiming, which is useful rather than /bring in very tight places, which most of the time throws them into the void or into a wall. /teleport also works for the same thing. You can use it to get inside a building between the cracks of the door or of a window which is useful in F1s about propblock or illegal bases. Until you get to do an application for administration rank, you'll have to do that every time. Which sucks. Anyway, next one is the /slay command. In the last update you could /slay people in creative ways such as a rocket or explosion, silent or just normal. Welll now mods can't do that. But it's fine, it does the job. Just as usual, slap a name in there and you're done. The holy /freeze command. Oh so many memories with that. Whenever you want to freeze that RDM'er or the guy walking around with F1's, this is the go-to command. Or /kick if you're tired of all that. We'll get into that one later in. Oh well the time for /kick is here. As usual, you can /kick and add a name. Unlike some commands you can give a reasoning to it. Here's an example: /kick Davy_Crokett_Love you are too overpowered. In that case, you cannot add spaces. Actually, you can never add spaces in commands. For example the build for /kick is like this: /kick [name] [command] Add a space, you've gone to the next thing. You can also notice a lot of people doing /warrant Swegi Swag, and it'll show up "There has been a warrant ordered on Swegi, reason: Swag" which makes me look awesome but anyway. The next one is the /warn command, which is the basic way of punishing rulebreakers. Add a reason and you're done. If you ever mess a warn up, use /unwarn. You can't add a reason to /unwarn so don't bother. Now we have the /bring command, which brings a player to you. /tp is sometimes better than the /bring command since you can choose the very exact place where the player goes, and not in a wall, which /bring tends to do all the time. We also have the basic /goto command which "/goes to" oh man that was funny. You type that in and a name, you're in there. Most of the time you'll get stuck so until you get admin you'll have to use /tp to get out of that or spam /goto. Or maybe even ask the person to move a bit. But they never do. That's pretty much it of the basic commands that I know of. Here's some other tips. Whenever you're on duty, you can't roleplay. You can easily tell that in the job description of the "Mod On Duty". Or in the !motd, if you ever bothered to read it.. -nahjustkidding. Also you can't have guns or have anything related to gameplay. Just your basic tools. Also, be sure to double-check your warns and kicks. Some of the commands have a player-check. Make sure you won't start with * or anything like that, or else you'll teleport everyone which I've done once. WELL the good part is that the people without "a" in their name survived that. The strange thing is that 2 guys pulled out guns and started a massacre. I didn't even, but that's pretty much all I can think of right now. Hopefully you'll once do a F1 and be like: damn, I ain't even mad Swegi stole my girl, them tips good. Hope you'll enjoy moderating on this community and I appreciate you, an unique player trying to help the server out without any obligation, you volunteered and we replied! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I probably would've walked in circles for a good 2 minutes, then I'd actually start thinking about the ban appeal. I probably would've reduced it to 4 days. Trying to crash the server is a serious offense and there's no joke about it. He did it on purpose and now regrets it. That I like, but it's still an unforgiveable offense. So I'll probably reduce the ban time. If I ever see him break another rule with my own eyes then I'll get him permanently banned. Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I've always encountered F1s or situations where an admin is really needed. Most of them are always roleplaying or plain simple - offline. And I can't really take it that I have to kick propspammers and not ban them, because right now when I'm typing this, probably someone is doing it. So I should probably write this faster. Either way, being an administrator gives more responsibilities. I do think that I would deserve it but it actually depends on other people's opinions about me. Most of them could be negative from what I've done in the past before becoming a moderator. But either way I was given a chance and hopefully given one more chance to become an administrator and do it correctly. I've gone way off-topic yes I admit. I don't really know how many good things can you say about yourself in 150 words. Either way, here's a simple answer. yes. |

how could an object or a thing that isn't human or doesn't think agree with you. i doubt you can have imaginary friends. constructive criticism is good, the world is bad, you'll have to deal with it.

Dear Swami, your recent activity on the forums has been replying to player topics disrespectfully, and that is by sarcasm and subliminal swears. These actions are very bad and might even lead to your demotion from Moderator (That's only my opinion), for the lack of professionalism and immaturity. Anyways, my verdict is : -SUPPORT
