I first began playing on the ZARP community around 6 months ago

No

Do you have any past experience in MineCraft server administration?
Yes, A couple of months ago I hosted a server with Beck, it was a Tekkit Classic server and it had around 20 players online at times. Problems were infrequent and when they did emerge they were swiftly dealt with.

Explain "grief" and give example scenario:
Griefing is a common problem in Minecraft Multiplayer. It is often done my small groups but can sometimes be done by much larger teams. A player would be griefing another players base if they were destroying it or stealing from it. For example; Player A builds a house and logs out. While he is offline, Player B decides to destroy his base and all of his hard work. This could be done by using a flint and steel, TNT, Luring creepers or even simply destroying the blocks by hand. Once Player B is into Player A's base, Player B decides to ransack all of Player A's chests and then run off. After this, if Player B was caught, he/she should be temporarily banned or permanently banned depending on the severity of the griefing

How would you deal with a disrespectful player?
It would depend on how disrespectful the player was being and who to. If the player was simply calling someone an idiot or gay, they would simply get a mute or kick. If they continued to disrespect at this level after I have punished them I would up the punishment, perhaps to something like a temporary ban. If they were being very disrespectful or racist, I would punish them much more severely, perhaps even with an instant permanent ban if they said something very severe. Finally, disrespect towards staff would be taken very seriously, even if it is just a minor offence, they would certainly be muted and maybe even temporarily or permanently banned.

In no less than 150 words, explain why you are an ideal candidate for the role:
I think that I am an ideal candidate for a position as moderator for many reasons. Firstly, I have a thorough understanding of greifing and I know how to deal with it. I know what to class and what not to class as griefing. When I hear of a report of a grief I am quick to respond and try my best to punish the person responsible. Next, I have a vast amount of experience as a server owner. Last year, I hosted a server for around 4 months. During this time I learnt of the many different things that different players can accomplish, both good and bad. I know when a person is being bad and I understand how to punish them and I am not afraid to do it. I can have a laugh with players and get to know them and be friends with them but I also show a serious side when they are being bad. I have a likable personality and a good sense of humor. Finally, I am a VIP on Zarp and really enjoy playing on the server. I really like the community, it is the best one I have ever played on and I would like to get to know them some more. I also think that this rank would help me to get to know the community and I would be able to work better with them and get more involved with them.
