I think there is a bug. Age: 18 Estimated Server Time:150 hours Languages I speak: English and a little french from school Promotion Related: Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. - My time as a moderator has been great, been very active doing F1s as well as RP-ing with fellow staff members. I feel like I have earned trust from many of you guys as well as had tons of fun. I feel like with more power I could do a lot more. People would listen to me, have more respect and listen during F1s. Rather than the perks of being an admin, I feel like my job as a moderator has gone very well. Played so much on the server and been on teamspeak everyday. Even if I am busy I still go on for at least 30 minutes a day. With all the experience as a moderator I feel like I can bring the job of an admin to next level. Having those extra powers and perks would be great, would make the job of an admin easier, with moderator it seems hard to control situation without being able to grab them. Also when I teleport to people on F1s I tend to be below map and in walls in some cases, no clip and other features would make my life much easier. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). -Doing F1s all staff members know that you will get that one person would is just completely disrespectful, micspams and doesn't listen for anything. What I did was warn the player for micspam and disrespect, he kept on going, so I asked a fellow staff member, happens to be a super admin. He said to either kick or ban him, I kicked him and of course he came right back saying “What did I do wrong?” So then I explained the rules and then he cursed us out and he got banned. So the issue was resolved and everyone went back on to RP-ing. If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Dear Moderator, Welcome to the team! Ok first thing we need to go over is the rules with being a moderator. When you are granted powers like teleporting, you cannot abuse it, so only teleport when you are on duty. Never use it during a raid, this can get you demoted in a second. To teleport you either “bring” the person to you or “goto” the person, in the chat type /goto “players name” or /bring “players name”. Next step is to learn is how to use the F1 system. It is very simple, when there is an F1 request it will pop up at the bottom left hand side of the screen. To access it press F1 then you will see a request or many, generally go for the first one so we don’t make people wait that long. So you need to right click the request you will do and click “handle this”, after you do that u want to teleport to the person in need and ask him some questions. For example, what happen? who's involved? Any proof? (if needed). Talk to both parties of the event, try to get the best understanding of the situation as possible. Once you come to a verdict, you either leave it alone because of no proof or warn someone if needed. To warn someone you get their steam ID under the players menu (Tab button) and type into chat /warn steam ID (reason of warn), with a space between each. After this ask something like is there anything else I can do for you today? if not finish the F1 in the F1 tab and move on to next one. Being a moderator is very simple and fun, remember you are a role model so dont “minge” around. Most importantly have fun and keep zarp’s RP server running strong! -CreamyDonutz Explain how you would handle the following situation: -Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for prop spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? - Personally I am a forgiving person, but this person has no right to spam and try to crash the server. There probably wasn’t any other reason for spamming than trying crash zarp. In this case it is their first ban, so I would shorten the ban from permanent to a week or two to learn their lesson. Then I would to meet with player x in game and explain to him if he gets caught spamming again, he would get banned permanently, as well as no option for appeal. Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). - I feel like I have had enough experience as a moderator, and with that experience I think I would make a great admin. I also feel like it would make my life much easier, I could do F1s with ease. Having no clip and grab gun would let me control the situations easier. I have played on the server for a long time now, since the old owners. I feel like I know the community very well and waited enough time for all of you guys to trust me. I also made lots of friends on zarp servers and love to play on them. I am on almost every day or many hours and know the rules every well. I would make a great addition to the team, being online when others aren’t keeping track of F1s. I will be able to make all the meetings now since they are earlier in the day. I will always have great input as well as have fun and joke around when the time is right. I feel like I am well known and have lots of supporters for becoming an admin. I would love feedback on this application guys/gals, be HONEST, i can take the truth. Thanks all, -CreamyDonutz |

Dear CreamyDonutz!
I like your application. Design is very good and you have put a lot effort to prepare this. One minus in this application is decent activity on the server. For now I will stay with NEUTRAL support due to this, Im going to change it on the meeting. Regards, Twix Palpatine |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Here is a pie chart displaying the result: Manual Vote As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
