RP Name: Kurt Hancock
Link to Steam Profile: www.steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198048039840/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:43887056 Current Gametracker Profile (find here) Age: 16 Estimated Server Time: Almost 70 hours Languages I speak: Norwegian and English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Random Death Match is when a playerkills another player for a non RP reason. Example: A player kills another player just because he felt like killing him. A valid reason to kill another player would be if he crossed a KOS line or trying to raid you. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. When you die because of an RP situation, you are not allowed to go to the area you died until the timer on the screen reaches zero. You also forget what happened in your past life. Example: Your house is being raided by cops and you die. You are not allowed to return until the timer reaches zero. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is mixing IC and OOC information in the chat. Example: ''/ooc Officer. Come down to the station for a meeting as soon as possible.'' Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would first talk to x and hear his side of the story. After hearing x, I would then talk to y to hear his side of the story. If y is not confessing the RDM and he is giving reason why the kill was an RP kill, I would ask X for evidence. If evidence is provided, y would get the punishment deserved. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would first hear both sides of the story. After hearing the story, I would ask x for evidence that he came back to the same area, and make sure x did not exit the area to kill y again. If no evidence is given, and I know x was at the same area when y returned, I would issue a warning to y. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided. I would tell x to not metagame. If the player does it again, I would issue a warning. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I think I should be chosen as a moderator because I have alot of experience with being a moderator and higher ranks on other servers. In the mornings when I usually wake up, there are usually no staff members online. A part of why I want to apply is to cover the mornings my time. I have noticed alot of rulebreaking during that time aswell that I have not been able to record.I know the commands and I know how to act professionally and mature in difficult situations. I have been on the server a while now and I know how the moderators and admins on the server act. I really enjoy playing on the server and I enjoy the community. I know all the server rules, and basic RP rules. I really want to be a part of the team to help the players and to help keep the server clean. |

Dear Pepper,
I dont know you that well, but from what I know, you are looking out for people breaking the rules. One time you made a f1, about someone breaking NLR; when you didn't even have something to do with their roleplay. That is pretty good mod material. You are funny, active and friendly. From me it is a huuuuuuge +SUPPORT Regards, TheBrohman aka John Everdeen |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Here is a pie chart displaying the result: As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
