Languages I speak English, Norwegian, and I take Spanish lessons at school. Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Explanation: Random Death Match, also referred to as "RDM", is when a player kills someone, and it does not have something to do with the roleplay. Scenario: Player Bob is a Guard. He is walking down the street, looking for someone to work for. Player Peter is a thief, and runs up to Bob and kills him. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. Explanation: New Life Rule, also referred to as "NLR", is when a player dies, except RDM, they cannot return to area of death, before after 3 mintues, if they do so they will get warned. Scenario: Player Kate, which is a citizen, walks down the street when she meets player Carol, which is a gangster. Carol has a gun in her hand, which is aiming at Kate. "Mug 2k in 10 seconds or die!" Carol shouts at Kate, which does not give Carol money. This ends with Carol killing Kate, and Kate can not return to where she died, until her NLR timer is over. If she does, she will get warned, if someone notices and make a F1 about it. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Explanation: Metagaming is when someone talk about IC, In Character, in the OOC, Out of Character, chat. (/ooc or // ) Scenario: Seamus' bank is being raided by some thiefs and Seamus write in OOC chat: (OOC) Seamus: Help! My bank is being raided by 3 thieves. Police come! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. Okay, so first I would talk with player X, and ask him/her about his/her story, on a quiet place. Then I would ask player Y about his/her story, on a quiet place. Then I would check the log, (probably would when I got to player X). Now: Situation One: Player Y says that he/she didn't RDM/kill player X, but that player X killed player Y. For this I would give player Y one warning for lying, and one warning for RDM'ing. Situation Two: Player Y says she/he RDM'ed player X. For this I would give player Y a warning for RDM'ing. Situation Three: Player X tells me that player Y was in his/her room, and then killed player X. What player Y tells me is that he/she was raiding player X, and killed him/her when he/she saw that player X was in the room. For this I apologize to player Y for the hasselment, and I would tell player X it was a missunderstanding, and explained about RDM. Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Like RDM, I would've asked both for their story, then I would taken a look at the circumstances. Situation One: Player x RDM's player Y, so player Y returns, because NLR, as far as I know, doesnt count on RDM. I would warn player X for RDMing. Situation Two: Player x raids player Y, and kills player Y. Player Y returns within a few seconds/ a minute, and tries to kill player X, who kills player Y again. I would warn player Y for breaking NLR. Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would first write in OOC chat that he is metagaming. Then I would've given him a warning because of metagaming, then explained to him in person, what Metagaming is, and that he cannot talk IC stuff, in the OOC chat. Why I should be chosen I think I should be chosen because I am online several hours everyday when I am home. I really enjoy playing on the server and help other players. I know I have a few things to learn, but I learn quick, and I know pretty much everything. I have been mod, admin and owner on different servers from Minecraft to WoW servers. When I help ppl I look away from bad things the person have don earlier, because I think everyone should have the right for a new start. Sometimes when I am playing myself, I can get a bit angry, but I dont let that anger out on other people. Instead I keep it inside me, trying to make the gaming environment as good as possible for other players. I dont quite know what to write here. I really like making new friends and meet new people, especially online (no perv). This was my application, so I hope you enjoyed reading it and that you will accept it, (something i hardly belive myself.) -TheBrohman aka John Everdeen |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Here is a pie chart displaying the result: As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
