How would you deal with a disrespectful player?

What would do is ask him/her why the person is being like that and try to calm him/her down, and if he doesn't I will warn him.
And if that player stil doesn't calm down and disrespects other players I will kick him/her depending on the situation.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 50 words).

The reason why I should be chosen is that I have over 10 hours on the server (I'm very active) and If I see that there's a few people on the Deathrun server I will join. I am also very reasonable and try to understand other players if they have something to say. I'm also not so strict and enjoy a joke of a player once in while. And sometimes when I play on the server and there's not admin or mod on the server I see alot of people breaking rules and ruining it for other players. I hope you guys accept my application as a Moderator.
