RP Name: Peter P Peterson
Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/Mcnally_95/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:50111493 Current Gametracker Profile: www.gametracker.com/player/Mcnally_95/94.23.19.200:27015/ Age: 18 Estimated Server Time: ~80 hours Languages I speak: English, Basic french Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Random Death Match (RDM) is where a player kills another player without reason. One example of RDM would be a player killing another player because the other player annoyed him/her. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New Life Rule (NLR) is where a player has recently died and can now not go back to the district where they died and cannot use any knowledge from his last life in his new life which might give him an advantage over others. The NLR timer is 3 minutes. An example of Breaking NLR would be a player gets killed in a raid and he went back to help his friends within 3 minutes of dying. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is where a player speaks in out of character chat (OOC) about an in game event. One example of this would be a gun dealer saying "I'm selling guns at spawn" in OOC chat. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would get both players together to give me their accounts of the situation. I would ask player y if they were mugging the other player. I would also ask player x what player y was doing. If player x says player y was mugging them and player x didn't comply, then this is not RDM since the mugger, as long as they are thief, is allowed to mug and kill if they don't get the money. If they gave player x the money and player y was still killed, this is RDM so I would warn player y. If player y was raiding player x, then player y is allowed to kill player x. If it was not a raid or a mugging then I would ask player x for proof of the RDM. If no proof is provided, then nothing can be done because there is no proof. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would get both players together to give me their accounts of the situation, i would then ask them both if they have any proof. If there is proof of breaking NLR then player y would get warned for breaking NLR, if no proof was given then since it is at peak time, there would be a fair amount of killing going on, therefore if the kills are pretty close together in the logs, player y probably broke NLR. Since no proof was given I would make my own decision as a mod to whether it is NLR or not. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided This is breaking the Metagaming rule since player x is talking about an in game activity in out of character (OOC ) chat. If the player wanted an explanation then I would bring them to me using the appropriate command and then explain to them why they were warned. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I have been in the Zarp community for a long time and I know most of the players, as well as mods and admins. I am also an active player and play whenever I can around studying (as well as when I am meant to be studying). I know all of the rules and how to deal with all of them. The Zarp community is growing all the time and quite quickly and more mods are needed to deal with all of the f1's, I believe I would be good at this because of my knowledge of the rules and I believe I could handle f1 situations. I am also a mature player and respect all rules and higher ranks. I am also patient which is a key skill in dealing with f1's especially when dealing with large groups. I am also a quick learner and have learnt a lot already from speaking to other mods and some admins. Thank you for reading my application. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for promotion on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP.
Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on. Here's a pie chart which contains the votes you received:
As your 'yes' votes exceeded the 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You will ONLY be given your rank during training, and it is your responsibility to turn up on time (preferably 5 minutes early) and use the /// admin chat to notify us you need a teleport. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team.
