Phantom's TS3 Moderator Application
Details: Steam Name: Phantom Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088685982 SteamID: STEAM_0:0:64210127 Age: 14 Languages I speak: English TS3 Related: How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3?: I feel strongly that the TS3 Zarp Server should be a place for players to come on, relax and have fun chatting with other Zarp players. When someone is being bullied it ruins the experience and stops people having a lighthearted, good time. Therefore bullies need to be taken seriously. If X reports that Y is bullying him, I would move them both to an empty room and ask for their stories and any proof they might have to back them up. If there was no proof for or against I would give Y a strong verbal warning and describe the consequences of bullying, then move them back. If I discerned that Y had been bullying X I would tell X that I would handle it, and not to worry, then move X back to his original room. After that I would tell Y that bullying is not acceptable on this server and that he is going to be kicked, and if I catch him doing it again it would be a temporary ban, possibly even a permanent ban depending on the extent of the bullying and what he has been saying (racism, personal attacks etc.), then kick him. Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately: -Kicking: You can kick a player from the server which disconnects them, it servers as a strong warning and often precursors a ban. -Banning: This kicks the player and stops them being able to join the server for a specified time, even permanently. It is normally used if a problem continues after a kick, and is a bit harsh for a first offense. -Moving: This allows you to move certain players to certain other channels. It can be used either to remove a player from a channel if they are not wanted there, or to bring them to your channel so you can discuss something with them. -Setting Groups: You can also set someones group, for example if someone becomes staff on a server you can set their group and give them the badge. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 70 words): The main reason I feel I'll be a good TeamSpeak moderator is because I'm one of the most active people on the TS3 server, and on all Zarp servers. I'm an active member of the Zarp community and love all the servers. I hate it when people are treated badly on TS3 and want to be able to do something about it. There is an issue I want to bring up, because I feel it's good to be honest in your moderator application. I was once very insulting to a member of staff on the TS3 server and got banned for 3 days. However I'm am very sorry for doing that and have learned from my mistake. I am not mean or insulting to any players on TeamSpeak anymore. I would love to be staff on TS3 and help the Zarp servers in more ways. Thankyou very much for reading my application and if anyone would like to make any suggestions or feedback, feel free to do so in the comments below. |

As the matter of fact that you got banned at the TS,

I'm one of the most active people on the TS3 server, and on all Zarp servers. This is defiantly not true considering that you do not even come on most of the Zarp servers. You have also been banned recently so I really think you are rushing this. I also do not see you on the teamspeak as much as I see a lot of the players and I have seen how immature you have been recently. -Support |

Neutral for now.
Seems you've been banned on Teamspeak before, you're not that active on it as you used to. - You got some attitude problems once awhile. - I think you should wait abit before applying again. |

Thank you for your interest in the position, however we are currently not interested in TeamSpeak moderators from your timezone..
