Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. I have encountered situations where someone was doing something that seemed wrong but was not written in the rules. I learned that if I do not know for certain I will not do anything until I have confirmation (Sorry 0ctocat). Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). A situation where a group of 5 people decided to crash, RDM, and other stuff. It was hard because I knew they where all working together but I could only catch a few of them. If you had to write an email to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? You are here to help the server, not to abuse your powers. Only use your powers when MOD or doing something to do with helping/punishing a player. Press F1 to access the report system. Right click on a report to show the options. Warn people if they break the rules and give a reason. If you are not sure of a rule, only let Admins or higher explain the ruling to you. Do not trust players. Some will do anything to get out of a warn. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I would allow him back into the server and tell EVERY admin to keep on eye on him. That is if this is his first offence. Why I should be promoted (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). There are many reasons I should be promoted to admin. These reasons will be listed and explained in full detail. These will include: my timezone, my experience and my maturity I will not deny I had made mistakes, but I apologise for my mistakes and unwarn them. I will not sit by as someone is warned for something I fucked up with. I accept the responsibilities of all of the actions I perform if they are incorrect I understand the consequences. I am on when there are large amounts of rule breakers. At times where they think no staff is on. I have experienced the pain of these people. They are not fun. I am also a very experienced player with a firm grasp on the rules. And I can recall them all of the top of my head. This means if anyone needs help I can be there. And help with the uncertainty of moderators and their decisions. I am very helpful and will help anyone who needs it. I have many members of the community vouching for my kindness and helpfulness. I work hard to help the entire community in any way I can. Through these Traits I believe I am quite well suited for the job of Admin. Thank you for reading |
