Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.


Random Death Match is assaulting or murdering another player without reason, for example, player A walks up to player B in the street, and player A shoots player B in the face and says "Eyeball me once more and you die" is in fact RDM.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

The New Life Rule comes into play when a player dies, a timer will start that will last for 3 minutes, if you return to the building or general area where you were killed you are breaking NLR, for example, if player A were to be a police officer raiding a base, and he gets killed inside that base, and he returns to continue to attempt the raid he is breaking NLR.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Metagaming is when you use the "Out of character" chat or the "Advert" chat incorrectly, such as advertising to buy or sell weapons in OOC is Metagaming.

Explain how you would handle the following situation: (RDM)

Player A files an F1 claiming that player B has RDM'ed him, Player B is not a police officer, a mutant or a hitman, I would check logs to see if player B had killed anyone else in a short period of time, if he has killed more than 1 person in a short space he would recieve a warn for RDM, if player A can provide proof such as video or screenshots, he would also recieve a warn, but if no proof can be offered, player B will be given a verbal warning.

Explain how you would handle the following situation: (NLR)

Player A files an F1 complaint that player B is breaking NLR, if player B has been killed more than once by player A, and player A isn't RDM'ing player B will recieve a verbal warning, if player B denies that he has been breaking NLR I would take both players to a seperate location to talk to them, if player A can provide proof then player B will be warned, if he does not know what NLR is, the rule will be explained and he will be let off with a verbal warning, if player B admits that he was breaking NLR he would also only recieve a verbal warning for being honest.

Explain how you would handle the following situation: (Metagaming)

Player A is using "Out of character" chat to buy and sell weapons, he would be teleported to and asked to stop, if he asked what metagaming was I would explain the rule to him, if he were to continue to break the rule he would be given a warn.

Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).

I have been playing Zarp for a while now and think the community is great (Besides a few) I have made some friends and think the staff are just and friendly, as are most of the players. The server is my favourite I have ever played on and I know that sometimes the admins and moderators get bogged down with many F1 complaints (Some of which are a waste of time) and would be happy to help. I would like to see this server continue to grow and become more popular and maybe in the future get updates to keep things fresh. I have had previous moderator, admin and owner experience on different games such as Minecraft and think I could do a good job with keeping things under control as I can stay detatched from a situation and will still deal appropriate punishment to people even if they have been friendly to me in the past. I have a good knowledge of the rules and can play for quite a few hours a day, and when admins and moderators are running thin as they can be busy with other problems, maybe bigger or more important ones, or in a meeting, the server can sometimes get a little out of hand with all sorts of basic rules being broken such as prop push and CDM'ing and I think I could help to keep these smaller problems under control.

After which I was unbanned, so nice try. Also, I was banned because people were vouching for my ban who didn't even know what the situation was, like you didn't, because you were asking me on Steam what it was all about but you still vouched for my ban, even more so, it was one 7 day ban, of which was lifted, then re-applied, then lifted again.

You have broken several rules and to top it all off you made text screens referencing tragic school shootings that happened in America. This was completely unacceptable and definitely shows that you are not ready to become a moderator as you have shown this lack of empathy towards players that might have found it offensive.

And after being unbanned, I took it on myself to apologise to everyone I had offended, I now realise that this was wrong and I am ready to abide rules.

All Sortus was doing is leaving you feedback on your application and on you as a player. You can then kindly reply and/ or improve on. I do not understand what you mean by 'Nice Try'.

This doesn't change my view of you. You didn't have any empathy towards them at the time this took place. You are generally treading along the rules trying to get away with small rules broken. My point is staying the same for now anyway.

Anton for the sake of your application I would stop trying to drag this out. Learn to accept other people's opinions of you and it will help you out. You are unwilling to accept my opinion of you which shows that you are trying to be ignorant of it. In no way was I making it look worse than it actually is because it was multiple school shootings that you mentioned which claimed the lives of innocent people.

If you continue to carry this on then it is proving a lack of responsibility. Please do not.

I have seen you on the server and you don't show that you are able to be mod yet.

A while back, he was accused of RDMing someone who walked past his door. He said" it is not rdm" to which I replied "it is". After that many slurs came from his mouth, some of which where horiffic.

I have never seen him be respectful ever.
