Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. RDMor Random Death Match occurs when one player kills or attack another without being provoked prior to the attack. An example of this can be if on the DarkRP server, a character is walking along the street and another player walks up behind them, pulls out a shotgun and blows them away without a suitable reason for doing so like being a hitman. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. The New Life Rule or NLR is a rule in RP gaming for dealing with characters deaths. If a character dies in-game and then the character comes back in a respawn, the player cannot simply send the character to go kill their murderer nor can they act out on the knowledge that they had before dying for a certain time. An instance of this can be a character being murdered by a hitman who had just completed their contract, going out with a large gun or weapon and trying to kill the hitman who had recently killed them. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is where a character attempts to use an something like the OOC chat to bring help to an RP situation that should not allow him. An instance could be a business that is being raided, using the OOC to say that they require help Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would arrive at the site of the call and then take the two players aside to an area where we could discuss what had happened in peace. I would take both of their stories and tell them what was in the log and then give player y a single warn for RDMing and request that they try to keep things a bit more civil in the future. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would take the two aside to a quite location and ask both to give their accounts of the story, I'd then ask the accused player if this were true and if they deny the accusations, I would check the logs. Since the logs show that he is guilty of breaking NLR, I would issue a single warning to them and tell them that they would have to keep to the rules. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would TP to the player and warn them about using the OOC chat for purposes other than Out Of Character chatting and give them a single warn for it. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I believe that I should be chosen as a moderator because I would like to help improve a server that I already have excessive amounts of fun on in more ways than just playing by the rules. I would like to be a fun member of the server team that would be able to solve disputes between different players and help to keep the server free from those that would who take pleasure in spoiling games for others with rule breaking and general assholish acts. I would like to add a little bit more humor to the server as I know from experience that if the players like the mod team, they will respect the rules more often. I know that I am certainly diplomatic enough to keep myself from jumping to conclusions with player problems and look forward to seeing how things go from here. Freeman thanks you for listening. |

You my friend are a class act. I loved the fun RolePlay we had earlier today when you was our hostage and the fact that you can sound like Morgan Freeman is brilliant. When we let you deal with some F1s with the Morgan Freeman voice it was loads of fun. You would be a great addition to the staff team and I hope that the other staff members are with me when I say +Support.
Look forward to seeing you on the TS and in-game over the week and wish you the best of luck in your application Note: I would also like to know which part of Scotland you are from |

Hey TheloveableHarlequin. You are an active player in the community and you are very friendly. I enjoy your company in game and I believe you would be a good asset to the staff team. You have never caused any problems for me and I have never seen any F1's being caused because of you. So best of luck for this weekend.

Hello TheLoveableHarleQuin, I think that before you apply for Moderator, you will need to play a bit more, 28.7 hours is (in most people's cases) not enough. I respect you being an awesome person, and that you're a very respectful person and a fantastic role-player... and have many positive points about you, but this one important negative point turns some/most of it around for me. Play more, and you'll defiantly have my +Support, but for now, Neutral.
Best of luck. --- |
