Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
'RDM' stands for 'Random Deathmatch' and is a rule implemented to try and stop realistic gamemodes such as DarkRP from turning into all out deathmatch. People who violate the rule are often issued with a warning and repeat offenders often get a ban. RDM occurs when a player kills another player for no reason whatsoever, or for a reason which is not deemed good enough.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
'NLR' Stands of 'New life rule' and is implemented to add to the realism of DarkRP. The rule states that after a player has died in any way, they are not to return to their point of death for a certain number of minutes. The number of minutes varies depending on the server. On Zarp the number of minutes is 3.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
'Metagaming' is when you break the realism of DarkRP by using things such as chat, voice or textscreens. An example of 'Metagaming' would be something like if you were a Police Officer, and you were talking to someone on TS3/Skype and they were a gangster and they were talking about their printers. If you then raided their base without seeing the printers ingame, based on the info you recieved, that would be 'Metagaming'. 'Metagaming' is often punished with warnings, kicks and eventually bans. Another example of 'Metagaming' is if you say something out of character.


Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
All in all, I believe that I should get the rank of Moderator because I am a daily player on Zarp and have been playing for a few months now. I have been moderator on a now shutdown server so I have experience. As seen above in my application, I understand the rules very well and would not think of breaking them. I am fair and helpful and playing DarkRP is one of my favourite things to do. I am constantly communicating with staff and get along with them very well. Whilst I am a Police Officer, I release those who have been RDAed and I call over staff to report incidents when they unfortunately happen. Thank you for reading this application, and I hope you consider me for the rank.

• Keeps calm in heated situations in-game,
• Active and known on the DarkRP server

To be honest I don't see you on the server ,but I it's just me being blind as a bat ,but I think from your App that you are good asset to our staff. Also, seeing how much the other staff member speak of you and how well you take advice... I +SUPPORT

Very active and helpful player. I see him around a lot and he never breaks any rules. I think this app is very well written and proves that he is intelligent!

Hopking is a known, well behaved and all around good guy as well as being all these things he is an amazing addition to the community this is why i believe he should become staff as with him the dark RP server would be the greatest in gmod

Have seen you on the server from time to time, but haven't specifically saw you, your application is laid out nicely and allows for easy reading.

Due to the reports that I have read you seem to be a great guy and from the time I have saw you, think that a Moderator Position would work great for you, but make sure you distinct between Duty/RP evenly... +Support
