I only put forth my this application because during the hours I play the server is most of the time dead. Though when it isn't there will be the occasional rule breaker that will come and ruined the gaming experience for whoever is online. I know this server booms around 3pm-10pm EST then after that it really dies off. I play anytime between 7pm EST - 6am EST.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
NLR(New Life Rule) means to forget all that has happen up to your death.
In majority of server's, it basically means do not return to your death location for a period of X amount of time, 3 mins according to Zarp standards/rules
Example: New player joins the server, changes his job to Guard. New player gets a job at the local bank. The bank is raided by gangsters and the guard dies.
The guard rushes back to assure that the people that killed him die. This is breaking NLR.
Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
RDM(Random Death Match) means to randomly kill a player with no reasonable purpose or cause.
Example #1: New player joins the server, changes his job to Guard. New player now pulls out his pistol and starts shooting someone and/or everyone he sees.
Example #2: A player joins the job Banker. The player pulls out a sniper from his inventory. The player shoots anyone he can scope into. This is RDM.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is using knowledge you have that was acquired out of character/game, or simply talking OOC(Out of character) while in character. Usually used for personal gain.
Example #1: Two players join the server together, Player 1 is a thief, Player 2 is Civil Protection. Player 1 gets in good with a group of gangsters and is about to raid someone. Player 1 uses OOC and says "Whoever is bases at the Mall, your getting raided right now". Player 2 rushes to this location abusing the knowledge he gained from OOC to arrest. This is a form of metagaming.
Example #2: New player joins the server, changes his job to Civil Protection. New player joins the teamspeak, but does not speak. Player listens to chat between players to benefit him/her in game. Example:(Evading Police, Thief's). This is another form of metagaming.
Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words).
I play Garrysmod, and a few other games, with my wife, and occasionally my brother as well. When we play together we do our best to play as a team. As a group, we bring a good amount of roleplay to the server. Such as, I set up a bank and my wife and brother will be my guards. If I'm not providing roleplay to the server, I'm providing respect, courtesy, kindness, and help. I try to greet everyone I come across with kindness and respect, and depart the same. When I come across someone that needs help, I do my best to help them. Whether they have ill knowledge on how to roleplay a certain job, or just helping them set up a shop. If someone does me wrong, I move on. If someone tries exceedingly hard to frustrate me and succeeds, I simply remove myself from the computer to relax and maybe grab a bite to eat or just watch some TV with the wife. If the situation turns out to frustrate me, but I am unable to remove myself from it because I am bound to it by responsibility, I take care of the situation in the way my superior would want me to, then, move on.
I can truly say with confidence I am no harm to anyone, and if someone does get offended by something I unintentionally did, I sincerely apologize and do what I can to make up for it. So what value do I add to the community? I feel I described myself as a person and play style pretty well above. I am not a perfect human being, I can get mad when children troll to the point it's just ridiculous.
What makes ME different is I know how to respectfully handle the situation for myself and my job.
I have an abundance of experience with my own servers (Not just Garrysmod), plus the time I clocked with other community's like Ev1L. I'm also extremely educated with with programming (It's my major and job/life). I would like to add what I would expect upon joining the team. If I was to expect anything, it would be how Zarp works as a team. Does everyone take responsibility for their actions? What do the owner(s) have zero tolerance for? How strongly am I expected to react when individuals break certain rules. How well do the admins work together? These are the types of questions I would want to know when joining the Zarp team.
REMINDER: This application is only being put forth to assist during non-peak times which I am most present. I do not wish to make a second job out of this like I have in the past. My life is extremely busy as is so while I do have some release time and use it on Zarp, it would be nice if I can use it while being assured no other person will ruin myself or other's time while on Zarp with me in your staff.
