Have you ever been administrator/moderator on any other communities? Own servers excluded:
I have been administrator of my friends servers on various games before, if that counts. If not, then no I have not.
What is your current rank?
Regular player.
What means NLR? Give atleast 1 example situation.
New Life Rule. E.g: I was in the sewers and a mutant killed me. I could not return to the point of which I died for 3 minutes and I have to forget everything that happened to me before I died.
What does RDM mean? Give atleast 1 example situation.
Random Death Match. E.d: A player approached me and killed me for no valid role play reason.
E.g: I am walking around in the street and somebody comes up and kills me. This would be classed as RDM.
What does metagaming mean? Give atleast 1 example situation.
This means that you are acting on what somebody has said in OOC chat (Out of character). You can not use OOC for in-character announcements. For example, if a gangster says in OOC that he has printers and a CP warrants him for that, this is meta-gaming as the CP has looked at the out of character chat and related to in-character actions. You can not talk about In-Character related things in OOC. This should be done as a PM or by using /advert. It also applies for things such as weapons clipping through walls, players being able to see through walls, and things like that.
Consequences
ps: Banning is allowed here, even as mod.
I, as a moderator, would go to the person and ask them if they understood what it meant. Then, if they didn't know, i would explain it to them and tell them that it is not allowed. If it was to be done again i would give them an in-game warning and tell them not to do it again. If it was done another time i would kick them from the game and it would progress from there.
What would you do if a player breaks NLR?
I would ask them if they knew about NLR and what it was. If they didn't I would inform them and ask them not to do it again. If they did, then I would tell them to leave the NLR area and if they didn't I would warn them.
What would you do if a player breaks RDM?
I would take them to a quiet place, e.g a rooftop or room. Then I would explain to them what they did and why it was wrong then, make sure that they understood and give them a single warning.
Do you have a microphone? (that you use)
Yes.
Can you be online atleast three/four days a week for atleast a few hours those days?
Yes I can.
Are you 14 or higher?
Yes.
If you don't follow the rules yourself you will get demoted and banned if needed you understand, you will dedicate to a training program and have answered each questions personally. Copied applications will be denied at once. Do you understand?
Yes, I understand.
Will you respect all players in both respect as disrespectful behaviour?
Yes, I will.
What is your added value to the community apart from taking care of grievers? (atleast 150 words)
I would love to improve my game time on your servers and increase it to over 100+hours. I love alot of the players who come on to the server, they have shared many fun roleplaying experiences with myself and I have enjoyed all of it. I know all of the rules, and know alot of the players so I can help them all out alot in a calm way which would hopefully benefit everyone and make the server a more fun experience for the players. I would make it my duty to be a friendly and respected moderator, which all the players like and are happy to be helped by. I don't think there are enough staff on at later times, (as I know from playing) so I can come on at said later times and do my duty to make the server a player friendly environment. As a moderator I would do my best to be fair to everyone and make make it a fun playing experience for all members of the Zarp community. I would want players to when they leave the server think:"Hey, the staff on that server were really helpful and the players and roleplaying was awesome. I'll come back again!" In my opinion it would be a very rewarding experience to be a moderator of such a fair and fun roleplay server, so if I am to be accepted as a mod, I will do my best to make sure it doesn't become a less user friendly server to play on.
Have you had enough community bonding so far? Like what?
Well, I know alot of people in game and have shared lots of fun experiences with them as I stated. I play with some of my own steam friends too who are members of the community and I play with on it regularly. I call admins/moderators when necessary and help other players with problems such as controls, in game rules and things like that.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, PixelNinja.
