Explain a situation in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command: a situation in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command is if two people are consistently ghosting without stopping after multiple reprimands. after a private message, warn and a kick, if they are still ghosting and breaking the rules, i would give them a ban of up to 2 days. If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?: Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello moderator! Congratulations on being accepted and welcome to the staff team! This is where you will be managing the server to keep it safe and fun for everyone. Be ready to expect anything, because you never know - offenses can include racism, discrimination, spamming etc. You will have a handful of commands to make this possible. Here are the commands you can execute: tgag - disables people from using the in-game voice chat - use this when someone is mic spamming, being racist etc. tmute - disables people from using the in-game text chat - use this if someone is spamming, bullying etc. psay - sends a private message to someone - one use of this is to tell a user to stop breaking the rules if they are doing so. webtauntmute - disables people from using taunts from web taunts - use this if someone is playing a racist, or offensive taunt. unwebtauntmute - enables people to play taunts from the web/ends the webtauntmute command slay slays a user - use this if someone is still exploiting or door-blocking. bring - brings someone to your location - use this if someone is stuck and is asking for help. goto - goes to someone's location - use this to get out of being door-blocked/if you are stuck. teleport/tp - use this to teleport you or someone to the location of where your crosshair is pointing. kick - kicks a target - use this if someone is still rule-breaking after you've told them to stop. forecteam - forces a player to the team you selected - use this to prevent someone from ghosting. fspec - forces someone to spectators - use this if someone is afk, and is delaying the round. checkspec - checks who someone is spectating - this can be used to combat ghosting. friends - tells you who someone's friend(s) is currently on the server - use this to tell if someone is ghosting. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that Staff Member x banned them permanently for Exploiting, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ]
Hello x, since staff member x has permanently banned you and that this was your first ban, i have spoken to them and decided to accept your appeal. since it was a while ago you got banned, you have had time to reflect upon your actions and your appeal seems genuine and very apologetic.
please note that further rule breaking will result in another ban and probably getting a second appeal denied. thank you for the appeal and have a good day! Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): i have a huge amount of experience in this server, nearing 700 hours. i am active, i am friendly and am willing to help out the server with my role. when i was a staff member in the past, i was very likeable and approachable and i did my job very well. i handled in-game commotion and situations accordingly and fairly. i am willing to rejoin the staff team, feeling more mature than the past to handle situations and keep the server clean.
