How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on the Discord server?:

I've been placed in both sides of bullying, both in real life and online. I am confident enough to say that experienced i've been in have helped me develop a mindset capable of dealing with such situations in a strict and timely manner, as these things don't take long to escalate, and besides, mental health instability is a thing of the present.

Firstly, to identify such situation i would watch out for targeted, but also persistent mockery or anything related to it, which has many forms online. After confirmation, i would proceed to calmly sooth down the situation between every involved user, or just straight up give a warning and ask the user bullying to stop harassing the user in defense. Escalations would lead to a mute/timeout/kick/ban in communication with the Lead Team if necessary, and always according to staff Ethos, which applies everywhere.

Explain some of the administrative features of Discord and when they're used appropriately:

Punishment features, such as mute, which would be used in cases of mic spam or other kinds of rule breaks used within the voice channels. Timeout, would be used in an example such as the previously explained one about bullying.
A kick and a ban would usually be more appropriate in more harmful towards the server cases, such as advertising, extreme cases of racism/discrimination, and of course in more serious cases such as death/dox threats et cetera.

Some other features include and are not limited to assigning roles to new staff members/promotions and VIPs, while also keeping channels in check with correct permissions and keeping announcements and stickies in accordance to their perspective channel's needs, with the right text format and grammar.

Besides my continuous daily presence both in chats and often in VC, and never missing out on an unread message, I believe my professionalism proceeds me when i say i would be a great fit for this position as i can only remember opportunities in my professional life that revealed themselves only after showcasing true dedication, great and rightful judgement, while also being an over-achiever and a go-getter. I never allowed any room for doubt in anyone's decision to trust me with power to do right and keep things together.
