How would you handle a TS3/Discord appeal?:
First I would say "Handling" on the appeal so people know im handling it.. Next I would try to get in contact with the Admin who punished the user, and check the logs for how long the user got punished. After looking through the appeal and after having a chat with the admin, I will come to a verdict. If the admin isn't online I would discuss it with the Head Admins or CM.
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used
appropriately:
Priority Speaker:
When a user is given priority speaker they are louder than people who aren't given this.
This could be used inside meetings, as example if someone has to give important information
Set Server Group
The Set Server Group command is used during the training of staff members. It allows you to give the user their badges during training. The only badges that give additional permissions are badges like TeamSpeak Staff, TeamSpeak Head Administrator, Community Developer, Community Manager, and Owner. .
Set Channel Group
This command is used whenever someone has either their own private TS channel or a gang TS channel. Once assigned to a user, they will have additional permissions within that channel, such as moving and kicking users from their channel.
Kick Client from Channel
This command will allow the user to kick a certain user from the channel. This can be used by both TS Staff+ and the Gang Owner Channel Group. After usage, they will be moved to the Lobby/AFK Room channel.
Kick Client from Server
This functions similarly to the Kick Client from Channel command instead it will kick them from the server, putting them back on the main TS3 page. When using this command you will get a dialogue box with a message prompting you for a kick reason. You should be using this command if the user is breaking TOU. Ban Client This command is used in serious cases where a kick is not enough, situations like doxing, mass racism or homophobia, etc. When you use this command on a client it comes up with a box. Where you see the name of the Client, the reason behind their ban, and some settings for the duration. Move Client to own Channel This command is used whenever you would like to move another user into the channel that you are currently in. After use, it will drag the selected user(s) into your channel. I would use this for scenarios like moving a group of people to a spacer for purposes such as training or if we just want to talk in private.
What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
:
I would use my new powers to handle appeals against players, with my powers I would also train people for teamspeak staff cause the CM's are slow. I also have access to the logs, which would be usefull for handling situations.
EXTRA CREDIT: How much does Xnator sell client icons for?:
