Important (My Activity has a gap and I know 2 weeks of consistent playtime is preferred so that is okay if I would not be eligible to apply this week but my activity will improve)

(Will be able to get atleast 3 hours a day as of 8/5/22) Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - (www.gametracker.com/player/Jawson/darkrp.zarpgaming.com:27015/) Estimated Server Time: On and off 5 Years, Hard to say. Languages I Speak: English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random deathmatch is when a player just decides that they want to run into the mines and shoot up da spot with that fancy spaz-12 or whip out a gluon and rip that precious jugg for no reason. Scenario: Player 2 is conversating with Player 5 then Player 32 comes up to player 2 and says something along the lines of "YOU’RE BEING MUGGED GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY OR DIE 321 BYE!!" and guns them down on the block. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: New life Rule is when you die in a district/area and you cannot go back to or interact with that area for 3 minutes. You must always obey the 3 Minute rule (Even if no timer is above unless permitted by Staff (EVENTS)) Scenario: Player 5 dies in the Residential district and then keeps on returning before his 3 minute timer is up. Explain how you would handle the following situation: You are handling a report in which player A accuses player B of killing them for no reason in a report via the F1 system. I would start the report by Teleporting to player A to check if they are available, after I make sure they are not RPing (Raiding/Defending/Participating in server activities) I would let them know that I am brining them to an out of RP area. I would then do the same for player B, if its all clear bring them to the sit area. I would now start asking for the story to see if it all adds up to what the logs would show as far as who killed who, when and how. If player A were to supply concrete video evidence (WITH NO CUTS) I would let them know that staff punishment is warranted in some cases depending on the rap sheet of player B and (See solutions A and B for results!) Solution A: (If player B didn't seem to be a frequent offender of the rules I would give them a chance to at least apologize for their actions and if a reasonable truce could be met by the players I would let player B off with a verbal warning but inform them that next time I need to deal with them I may not be so lenient then send them on their way and Close the sit) Solution B: (If player B's rap sheet was just fully littered with warnings for the same offence (within a reasonable time frame of course) after reviewing the evidence closely!, I would issue a punishment of a Warn for RDM, Send them on their way and close the sit) Explain how you would handle the following situation: You witness a user mass RDMing in spawn, killing many people constantly to the point where users are complaining. I would do some investigation first, making sure the claims of people being killed are true by looking over kill logs. If the alleged mass rdm were to be true I would first freeze the player and confront them for the actions they are doing, I would check their rap sheet and see if they had been punished for mass rdming recently and if they haven't been I would explain the rule in detail so they cannot play it off in the future then issue the warning for mass rdm. If the player persists I would try my best to get an Admin+ to deal with it so a possible ban could be issued. Why I should be chosen (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words): Activity is not the greatest over the past 2 weeks, I will work on that to the best of my ability. Although I have had some short terms as staff (my last attempt was foiled by Irl/work issues :/) which now things have cleared up so I have some free time again. To my knowledge I can say I was to par as far as my staffing abilities went some may agree and some may disagree with that but that's okay either way. I think I should be considered for this position because over the years I have become more and more familiar with the rules and how rule breaks/tricky situations should be handled on the SSRP server. I am not afraid to speak my mind and am willing to argue for what is right. I would not stray from trying to assist those who are struggling and I would gladly take the lead and give them the guidance if they really need and want it. (Now the cheesiest part of this) I would make it my goal to make sure the server stays pleasant for all new and old players alike keeping them river den streets clean of them gun dealers with a Glock and a vendetta. |
