How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: Since being an admin I have successfully been able to keep the server a nice and safe place to play when dealing with toxic users and I have also been contributing to the ZARP community by attending all my meetings so far.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? I feel like I would be a good candidate for new staff wanting to join the community by being available to train them and encourage others to join the staff team to ensure the server is safe with active moderators. I have grown to love ZARP as a community and enjoy putting my time into it
:
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: I have had many people join the server who have been unsure on how to complete maps or how to use commands, I took my time explaining these. I have also uncounted multiple instances where members have joined to be rude and disrespectful and have handled these situations by muting and the toxic member which luckily caused them to stop.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: I would first review the complaint and talk to the person more to get a better idea of their concerns and also ask other users or staff if they have witnessed this, with this information I would contact the server owner and discuss if this is enough evidence to make a decision on how to punish this staff member or even demote them.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? First I would discuss with said staff member and ask to hear their point of view on why they believe their punishment was justified and remind them that punishing someone for longer than the recommended time is unfair and would make the server unstable by dishing out punishments that vary and to follow the suggested times to punish someone.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? I would finish off the punishment for the said staff member whilst helping the staff member by showing him the steps on what to do in said situation since it is my responsibility as a higher up to help my fellow staff members learn and train from my actions,
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
Firstly, I would ask the staff member to explain to me what is happening and ask for evidence (screenshots, recording, etc) to make sure the claim is truthful.
If the claim is true I would bring up this complaint with the Owner and discuss punishment or even demotion.
If this claim is wrongful I would suggest that both staff members join me in a teamspeak or a discord to talk out and discuss if there was any negative emotions between there to be a false accusation to resolve the conflict peacefully.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I would remind them both that there is no need for negativity and that they should be treating each other with respect. I would suggest them to talk things out in a private place such as discord or teamspeak, if unfortunately they do not resolve this issue I would talk to a higher up and ask if there is something else we could do to settle the tension between the two staff.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would remind the staff member that what they are doing is against the rules and suggest the immediately stop, I would also talk to the staff and ask why they thought their actions were appropriate. If they do not stop I would report this abuse to the rest of the team to make a reasonable decision if this user should be demoted and punished.
