How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3/Discord?:
I will first contact the player that is being bullied either through DM's on discord or by talking to them in a spacer on TeamSpeak. Depending on what happened, I would ask them to provide proof of what they are claiming (assuming I wasn't present at the time) before I take any action towards the reported user. The action I take really depends on the severity of the situation and the attitude the report player has throughout the community. If they are new to the community or rarely break the rules, I would remind them that these actions are not acceptable and if they continue, a ban (on TS) or a mute (on discord) will be issued. If they are a repeating offender,
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used
appropriately:
Discord:
Mute - This will stop the user from being able to talk in any of the chatrooms or voice calls. This will be used when the rule broken isn't severe such as randomly pinging people, or as a warning for more severe rulebreaks.
Kick - This will kick a user from the Discord. It will be used in cases when a more severe rule is broken, such as spam pinging, or will be used if a muted user comes back and breaks the rules again.
Ban - This will be used in the most severe of situations/rulebreaks, such as a user being constantly disrespectful towards others, racist, harassing others continuously, etc.
Teamspeak:
Moving Users - This will move a user from one channel to another. It can be helpful when dealing with situations regarding rulebreaks on the server as it would allow me to privately speak with the users involved.
Kick - This will kick someone from the Teamspeak. This will be necessary when a user first breaks the TOU after being verbally warned.
Ban - This will be used if a more severe rule is broken, or when a player that was kicked comes back and repeats the offense.
Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words):
I should be chosen as I am very active on the Teamspeak and I find myself always looking through the discord channels. Whilst I don't believe anymore TS staff are really necessary, I think the discord server could always use the extra hand as it is much more active and a lot more rule breaks take place on there. I have also had TS and Discord Head Admin in the past from when I was Community Manager so I am already familiar with the commands I will get access too and how they are to be used.
