Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match is also known as RDM which is when someone kills another player without cause, an example would be if player 1 was walking down the spawn pavement, and player 2 sniped them for no valid reason, this would be an example of RDM, you could verbally warn if you chose but you can also give a warning, if the player 1 has proof of the RDM then you can be sure that there was no other causes to player 2's actions
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New life rule or NLR is when if you die you cannot return to the area for a certain amount of time, an example of this would be if someone died in there base they cannot return and kill the player that raided them for a few minutes.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You are handling a report in which player A accuses player B of killing them for no reason in a report via the F1 system.
I would accept the F1, then teleport to the reporting player. I would ask them if they would like assistance, when They answer yes, I would move us to a secluded roof to avoid ruining others RP. I would then gain a greater understanding of the situation and retrieve the reported user.
Once I have retrieved the user, I will listen carefully to their side of the story as to what happened. If they would admit to the reported incident, I would either warn them if they're generally new to the server, or lack understanding, Or I would warn them for their blatant rulebreak.
If the reported player denies the claims, and the stories conflict. I would request any evidence to be handed over and analysed. If the evidence proves the claims, I would warn the reported user. However, if the user has no evidence, I would have to return the reported user. I would probably keep a closer eye on the reported user from then on as to prevent any further situations occurring.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You witness a user mass RDMing in spawn, killing many people constantly to the point where users are complaining.
If I were to witness a user mass RDMing on server, I would warn them for every RDM I witness them commit. After receiving the warning threshold limit, the user would promptly be automatically banned from server.
If the user would stop RDMing after a few warnings, then no further action would need to be taken as they have received punishment.
If I did not witness the user mass RDMing, but instead got reports of it. I would instead act as previously stated, in the previous question.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I have a lot of experience on the Zarp SSRP server, both as a user and staff. I am well aware of the rules users should follow, and reasonable responses to any rule breaks. I evenly and without preference handle situations that may occur and can handle it in a professional manor.
I took a long break from zarp during 2021 as I had lost complete interest in the game, however as 2022 came around I found myself playing more and more. I figured since I am playing again, and actively avoiding breaking rules, I would apply for staff and help out around the server.
It has been many years since my last tenure as staff, in which I resigned with no outstanding issues. I would love to return as recently I have noticed a lack of active staff around the servers, and would love to do something about it.
