How would you handle a TS3/Discord appeal?:
I would first get in contact with the staff member who handled the punishment and ask them for their story on the situation, after reviewing the evidence provided I would then post the outcome of the report on the thread, and lock it. If accepted, I would remove the punishment that was handed out.
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3/Discord and when they're used
appropriately:
Ban Member
The ban system within discord and TeamSpeak is used to remove someone from the server, not allowing them to join back for a specified amount of time. This is different from a kick, as members can rejoin if kicked.
Kick Member
With the kick function, you can kick someone from a channel (on TeamSpeak) or the entire server. They will be able to rejoin without needing to be unbanned from the server.
Mute Member
With the mute functions, you can remove the ability for a user to type within a channel or use voice activity within the server(s), mutes can be given out when a user says something they shouldn't, and can be longer depending on the severity of the situation.
Roles
On Discord, roles can be given to give a member access to more features or channels.
On TeamSpeak, roles, also known as server groups are given to display a user's position within the community, and give them moderation permissions if they are a staff member on the server.
What would I do differently with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
With my new powers, I would be able to handle appeals, assign more roles if required, and be able to provide better help for anyone asking for assistance within the discord server or the TeamSpeak server. I would also be able to check logs, which will be useful in handling situations that may not be as easily handled without access to said logs.
EXTRA CREDIT: How much does TheXnator sell client icons for?: No idea, I prefer to go to Richard for these things
