Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:

During my time as moderator, I was able to get more involved with the players on the server and to implement myself as a contact person for users who need help.
I got in contact with the server team as well as with the Community Management with whom I was able to push some changes forward that benefit the entire player base.

Also I was able to work together with Nyx on some secret projects that will improve the overall experience on the surf server

Explain a situation as a Moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around:

I've never been in a situation I couldn't handle by myself but I'll make one up.

A player is using an exploit to beat records.

In this situation I would gather as much evidence as I can.
I would then forward this to a member of the Lead Team to have them punish the player.
If no Lead Team Member is available at the moment, I would kick the player and forward the information to the Lead Team.

If you had to write a letter to train a Moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:

I would start of by welcoming the new Moderator to the Staff-Team.
Then I would start explaining to him, what our main goal as a Staff-Member is.
I would then proceed with explaining the Staff-Ethos to him and answer questions if he has any.

After this, I would explain his new Moderator-Commands to him and where to find them.

I'll make sure that he understands, that it isn't all about punishing people, but about helping people and granting them a great time on the server!

Chat Mute
Disables the player from using Text Chat.

Used if someone is spamming, being racist or just being rude in chat and a verbal warning doesn't work.
The standard mute time for chat mutes is five minutes.

Voice Mute
Disables the player from using Voice Chat.

Used if someone is mic-spamming, being racist or just being rude in voice chat and a verbal warning doesn't work.
Note that mic-spamming during the map-vote is allowed and thus musn't be punished!

Strip Weapons
Removes players weapons.

Used if a player is using a gun to the point of annoying other players.

Kick
Kicks the player from the server.

This is only to be used as a last resort if verbal warnings and muting doesn't work.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that Staff Member x banned them permanently for Exploiting, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Why I should be promoted / accepted:

I am very active and have been playing on the server for a long time and I'm well known by most players.
I've built myself a reputation of being a very passionate surfer, but also a very helpful and overall friendly player.
I want to help the server to improve as much as possible and give everyone on the server the best experience!

I have a lot of experience moderating surf.
I am able to help and teach most players on every map. except surf_lab
I have many ideas and suggestions on how to improve certain things on the server and would like to help out as much as I can.

My passion for surf is very prolonged and it wont change in the near future!
