Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
"Random Death Match" or "RDM" is the act of killing another player without roleplay intent, an example of said RDM would be a pretty common example of a Gun Dealer buying a weapon, and killing everyone in sight from AFK players to active players playing the server at the time. However very common, this is also the easiest case of RDM to deal with.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
"New Life Rule" or "NLR" is when you are killed in a roleplay scenario and come back to the district before the timer at the top of the screen has count back down to 0:00, however, although the number may stay at times. You can technically break NLR in many situations, notably as cops actively raiding the Nuke during a Nuclear Launch.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You are handling a report in which player A accuses player B of killing them for no reason in a report via the F1 system.
As a moderator for the great server of Zarpgaming SSRP, I would simply teleport to the player who created the F1. And if they are not busy or in an RP situation in the current moment, bring them to a secluded area or rooftop for a sit. I would then have them explain the situation and ask if they have any evidence, aswell as check the logs. If they do. Review the evidence and decide from there, if not. Examine the logs, and then ask the player who is being reported in PM whether or not I can teleport, if I get no response I would then teleport to them and check if they are busy. I would then bring them back to the rooftop and interrogate them on the situation, ask if they did infact kill the player with no roleplay intent. And if I get an admission, decide whether to warn them based off the severity of the rulebreak, aswell as any recent punishments they may have recieved, close off the sit. and send them both back!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
You witness a user mass RDMing in spawn, killing many people constantly to the point where users are complaining.
If there is in fact a player RDMing in spawn, simply freeze the player, and check for any recent punishments, if they decide to cooperate, let them off with a warn, if they have plenty of recents for Mass RDM, or anything similar, decide to kick them. Or even grab a higher up to ban the player for a decided time by them.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I believe I should be accepted as a Moderator simply because I have been on Zarp for a very long time, even been staff once before. I don't have many punishments, and the punishments I do have are long forgotten. I show dedication to the server, and make reports when necessary. Though I may occasionally joke around, it's nothing severe enough to warrant any sort of punishment, I love playing on Zarp, and with one of, if not the biggest update Zarp update to occur right on the horizon. Now should be the best time to apply, thank you so so much for reading my application, and I hope I can make a difference as a staff member for this great server!
