How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
My time as an administrator has been really well, I am active in the meetings engaging in each section I can attend. I have provided new ideas and consistently lending my aid to the current LT, staff, and players on the server with basic or advanced situations such as basic controls and how to play for the users and consistently supporting other staff while keeping a good sense of maturity to show to the staff and users.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
What makes me a good candidate for the SA team is my dedication, experience and maturity I can bring to the team.
My dedication since re-joining Deathrun has been the same as ever, consistently supporting myself, the players and the current staff team to ensure they have the best time on the server. I am on everyday and so should a situation be made aware, I can check and ensure the correct action is taken to provide the best experience I can give as a staff member and a player.
My experience as an administrator has been very good, I have handled appeals on the forums and my experience over the last few years haven't wavered from when I was staff previously on Deathrun. I have handled a couple LT positions being on Murder as an initial staff member as Head Admin. I have also had experience on Prop Hunt as being a former Super Admin helping out staff members and training them to be good staff members.
My main course of experience however comes as former Deathrun Owner in which I was trusted to run and manage the server and the whole staff team. As a staff member, I have ensured my maturity and attitude is fitting for a staff member to provide an example for others and to use as a guide for the server, being calm in situations on and off the server as well in meetings and general conversations.
I have always been active on the server, the TeamSpeak and the Discord every day so I am able to engage in normal conversations with users and can be called on to support users or staff with any situations regarding the server.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
Since becoming staff on Deathrun, there has not been any situations that would require a Lead Team member to help me out with any situations.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
If there was a report on a staff member, I would first claim that I would handle the report and speak to the staff member involved with what they were reported for. Below are some reports of staff members had a report abuse been accepted or denied:
Accepted:
Hello Player X, I have spoken to the staff member reported and after looking at the evidence provided and having spoken to them, I have accepted this report due to them intentionally trying to disrespect a user and you have provided sufficient proof showing this. The staff member will be bought up in the Lead Team meeting to discuss what will happen.
Denied:
Hello Player B, I have spoken to the staff member reported and after looking at the evidence provided and speaking to the staff member, I have denied this report. Your evidence is not enough to show them rulebreaking and deny it themselves. Please provide better evidence next time.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would approach the staff member asking them what the person was banned for. I would also check to see how long and an example is being banned for a week for ghosting. I would approach the staff member and ask them why they banned for that long on a first offence and why they didn't resort to simpler methods like muting the user. I would remind the staff member of the staff ethos and that banning is not always the solution and they have other commands or they can simply talk to the user that can simplify the problem.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
If a staff member is struggling to handle a user, I would speak to them in admin chat or in Team Speak and I would ask what the user has done to know what the staff member is struggling with. I would help them by telling them what they can do to make sure the user understands what they did and how they can fix the issue with dealing with the user.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would get the two staff members into Team Speak to talk about what happened between them and what rule the reported staff member broke. I would make sure they both know the rules and that the staff member who broke them understands what rule they broke and how. I would look over both sides carefully and let them know what staff are meant to do and refer them to the Staff Ethos.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
If a staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards other staff, I would invite them to Team Speak to talk about their actions and I would ask what they did that started the argument. I would then ask the staff member that was disrespected and ask what the staff member did to them. Once I reach a conclusion based on both staff members, I will bring them up in the Lead Team meeting to discuss if further action should be taken.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
If a staff member broke rules to harm a user, I would get that staff member into Team Speak to talk about their actions. Firstly, I would make sure the staff member knows what they did wrong and explain to them that this is serious as they have actually harmed another user and that the harmed user is offended by their actions. I will then bring them up in the meeting with the other Lead Team members to decide on what should happen. Depending on the severity of the harm to the user and what the staff member did, they could be officially warned or given a demotion.
